Chapter 34

ADDISON:
Today is the day, it's the quarter final match. They're playing Italy today, I'm so excited for the boys but the last time they played against them Dec left in an ambulance.
The boys have been training so much and working so hard, I haven't seen them much, but it's very reassuring that I'm in the same country as them now. I'm in a room next to Rebecca and today we're going to the match together. Unfortunately, I won't be able to see them before the match but Ted and I have our shirts on and will be cheering them on as loud as possible.
The boys are coming out of the tunnel, both boys are in the starting 11. As they walk out they both look up and blow me a kiss, Dec makes a heart with his hands and points to me.
The game starts and it's a close game both teams have had chances but have defended really well. It's now the 50th minute and Dec has the ball and gets it past the Italy players and is heading towards the goal he passes it to Mason who shoots it in and scores. I scream in celebration as I watch the boys run to each other to celebrate. They're both so happy and both look towards me and Ted and blow kisses. The rest of the game is quite uneventful but with the goal scored earlier, it means England go through to the semi's. I am so proud of the boys.

DECLAN:
The game finishes 1-0 to us and I am so happy. The winning goal scored by Mason and I got the assist. All of us England lads are celebrating on the pitch but before we can go see Ads, me and mase get pulled for an interview.
Interviewer "Well done on the win lads. Winning goal scored by you Mase and set up by Dec here. Does that goal being team work make it one for your history of football memories?"
Mason: "definitely, scoring any goal is a memory made, scoring in a tournament especially a match like this is one for the history books especially when it wins the match but scoring it with the set up from my best friend and brother just makes the magical moment a bit more magical."
Interviewer: "Obviously an amazing duo on and off the pitch. We see you aim your celebration to the crowd I take it there's someone special watching tonight"
Declan: "yeah my wife and son are in the stands watching and to help score the winning goal and them be here to witness it makes it better obviously for Mase, that's his sister and nephew he's just scored the goal in front of so I think it makes it a bit more special"
Mason: "yeah definitely, scoring with them here to see makes it amazing. I can't wait to celebrate with them now"
Interviewer: "thank you for your time lads. Enjoy celebrating"
We walk off from the interview and I look at Mase and say "let's go see Ads and Ted."

ADDISON:
I see the boys walking over with big grins in their faces. They run up and hug me. "I'm so proud of you both. That was an amazing goal." Just then Teddy starts crying in his pram, "uncle mase to the rescue" Mason says as he gets him out of the pram. I give Dec a big kiss, "Such a proud wife right now" I say he hugs me and whispers "I think you could show me just how proud tonight" I giggle then wink at him, turning around whilst Dec has his cuddles with Teddy.

Back at the hotel, everyone's celebrating and having fun. Teddy is tired and grouchy so I get ready to take him up to bed. "Babe I'm taking him to bed now he's really tired." I say to Dec, who grins "I'll come too, been waiting to get you in that bedroom all day" we both stand up and say our goodbyes and the lads make comments knowing exactly why Dec is following with a grin on his face, he looks around holding his hands up and says "she's my gorgeous wife of course I'm happy going to the bedroom with her" raising his eyebrows making sure they know what he means. Soon you hear "She may be your wife but that's my sister your talking about and I really don't need to hear it. I hear enough at home" everyone laughs and we head upstairs.

MASON:
I'm sitting celebrating with everyone after saying our good nights to Ads and Dec, I feel a pat on my shoulder as Jack sits next to me with Hendo. "Alright lad" they say and we get chatting then Jack says "is it weird having Addi and Dec live with you at home even though they're married and have Teddy? Only asking as it made me laugh your comment earlier" I shake my head, "surprisingly it's not. I love them both and adore having Teddy live with me.I lost my sister once and it broke us both. Obviously her and Dec are perfect but she still needs me and I still need her, I always will. It's a big house so we can have our own time if wanted or needed. I don't think I could say goodbye right now" they both say how cute it is and we have a few more drinks before heading to bed ourselves.
