Chapter 50

ADDISON:
3 hours after the match is over, we're back at home. Teddy is asleep, the boys are playing eachother on fifa, it's my turn to play winner. The winner is Dec, Jack laughs and says "are you going to let your wife win or beat her and deal with the consequences later" we all laugh then I add "what if I beat him without him letting me win" then Mason says "then you'll deal with the consequences of that" I laugh and lean forward to Dec, "I'll make it up to you later if I beat you" the boys all laugh as Mason covers his ears and says "you're my little sister I don't need to hear things like that." Dec laughs and says "pretty sure you've heard worse.. like her screaming my name" I slap his arm "babe, I don't need to be reminded of Mase hearing that" I look at Mason embarrassed "please Dec, I get haunted by the memory daily of my little sister screaming my best friends name" I cuddle Mason then say "I did however change you from best friends to actual brothers" the boys all laugh as the game begins. During the game, it's 3-3 and then Teddy cries, I go to out my remote down to get him then Mason says "no sis, I'll go to Ted, you've got to beat his arse" I laugh and carry on playing. I end up beating Dec 6-4. As the match finishes I put the remote down and celebrate. He sits there with a bottom lip out pretending to be sad. He stands up and hugs me and whispers "definitely owe me now don't you." The butterflies in my belly erupt and a grin reaches my face I whisper "just wait until you see what lacy set I've got under what I'm wearing" he grins and kisses me passionately.
We're soon interrupted by Chilly "might want to save all that to the bedroom" he laughs as we pull away, as I walk away Dec slaps my arse and laughs, I head to the kitchen for a drink.
A couple of hours later the boys head home. Me and Dec keep our promises to each other.
-Time skip- 7 weeks-
I'm now 37 weeks pregnant, I'm massive, I can barely walk. The boys are at an England match today, they're playing a friendly against Croatia. I stopped attending matches about 3 weeks ago, when my belly just got so big. It's now 3:20, kick off was at 3, I've got the game on TV. All of a sudden as I'm walking back from the kitchen my waters break. I'm in shock, I've been having contractions, but put them down to braxton hicks as they've not been too painful. I have no one near, the boys are all playing. I get a set of car keys, I put Teddy in the car, along with his bag and the birthing bag. Since my waters breaking the contractions are more painful, I know I need to get to hospital. As I begin to drive the 20 minute drive, I call a number I know will answer as he's not playing today, due to a injury during training this week. I call Jack.
Jack🤪:
J-Ads what's wrong? Why are you calling?
A- Jack, I need you to tell Dec and Mase to come straight to hospital, my waters have broken, I'm in the car with Teddy on my way to the hospital.
J-I'll tell Gareth now, he can sub them.
A-No No, how longs left til half time?
J- About 15 minutes.
A-okay so at half time tell them.
J-Okay, I'll come with them and take Teddy home. You'll need both boys. Stay on the phone to me until you get to the hospital. I'm still here I'm going to tell Gareth what's happened.
I hear him walk to Gareth. "Boss, at half time Mase and Dec have to come off. I've got Addison on the phone she's on her way to hospital with Teddy in labour." I hear him gasp "I can sub them now" I hear Gareth say "Nah, boss she said tell them at half time. Also, as I'm off injured can I go with them to have Teddy?" I hear Jack say. Then Gareth responds "yeah of course you can. We've got 10 minutes. Give her my love and wishes"
J-Ads, 10 minutes and we'll be on our way.
A-Thanks Jack, I'm at the hospital now. See you soon. Thank you so much
J- Anytime Ads, I'm here whenever you need me.

JACK:
The half time whistle blows and the boys come off the pitch, I run up to the group of boys and they go to speak but I interrupt "Mason, Declan. You both need to come with me now. Ads called me and she's on her way to the hospital in labour. Her waters broke, she's got Teddy with her. I stayed on the phone to her until she got to the hospital, she told me to tell you at half time" decs eyes widen "Shit, let's go" we say goodbye and everyone says good luck. I follow them out then Dec looks around at me "ain't Gareth gonna give you shit for leaving" I laugh "I cleared it with him, I'm gonna have Teddy, Ads needs you both" we get in the car and head straight to the hospital.
