Chapter 64

ADDISON:
This has fucked me up, I'm frozen. Soon I hear Mase and Dec run towards me "what is it Ads?" I just look at them both horrified. "It's me. They're pictures of me." I say as I show them the pictures inside, it's full of pictures of me out and about, on my own and with the kids. Then there's a letter saying "I'm watching you, you'll never see me but I'm gonna make your life hell."
I instantly run and lock the door, tears are falling down my face, and I'm scared. Decs on the phone to the police, and they're sending someone out.
We've given all the evidence to the police and any cctv we had, they're opening an investigation.
-2weeks later-
It's been 2 weeks, and I've not left the house, I've kept Teddy off of nursery. I lock the door when Mase and Dec leave and make them lock it when they're back. I don't really talk to them much, when they get home I go upstairs and go to bed. The whole situation has really effected me mentally. I'm so paranoid about everything. I've turned my phone off, and not spoken to anyone. I missed the last Chelsea match of the season. I spend the whole time with the curtain closed. I'm scared all the time.
DECLAN:
Mase and I are in the car on the way home. We've stopped in the shop to get some bits. Our phones ping, it's the groupchat, I've taken Ads out of it as she's got her phone off anyway, but we've not been on it, we've been off socials and everything. We haven't told any of the boys what's happening, not even the chelsea lads. The police have leads and are being cautious.

Dec: I think it's time I told you
all the truth. 2 weeks ago an envelope
was posted and it had pictures of her
in it. Like pictures of her out and with
the kids. There was a letter saying
"I'm watching you, you'll never see me
but I'm gonna make your life hell." It's
proper upset her, she ain't good boys,
she won't talk to us. She hasn't left the
house in 2 weeks, she won't open the
curtains, she's always in the bedroom
if we're home with the kids. Stopped
Teddy going nursery and everything.

Chilly:That's why she missed the match?
Lads why didn't you tell us we
could've helped.
Hendo: Fuck man! Who would
do that? Are the police involved?
Grealish: Shit lads. Why go through
it on your own, we're all a family x
Mase: Lads, Police just on phone to
Dec, we'll let you know in a bit.

The police call me and after a long conversation with the liaison officer, I've hung up and I'm in deep shock. "Dec lad what they say?" Mason asks taking me out of my thoughts. "They've got them... but I think this could hurt Ads more" I say and then Mason says "Dec, tell me lad" I take a deep breath "Lauren" I say and Masons eyes widen in shock. I blame myself, she's bad news she always has been but I brought her back into our lives. "We need to tell Ads. Hopefully she'll feel safer now." Mason says as we unlock the front door.
Before she goes upstairs I says "Ads baby, please sit down. I've spoke to the police." She looks at me straight faced and says "yeah so have I... I've been scared of living, I've been hostage in my own house and head because of the slag you brought back into our lives!" She shouts and runs upstairs crying, I fall to the floor crying.
MASON:
Shit, that went to hell really quickly. I decide I'll give Ads time to calm down. I hold Dec he's crying, then Teddy comes over asking what's wrong and gets upset as Daddy's sad, then Evelyn wakes and cries. I know I'm gonna need back up here. I decide to call the 3 people, I know will be best.
Group call- Mason, Grealish, Chilly and Hendo.
H-Mase, Jack, Ben.. alright boys?
J- Alright lads?
B-Hi boys...
M-Boys I need your help at home like now Please.
H-Yeah course I'll come now. What's happened?
J- I'm getting in car now. Mase what is it?
B-Leaving mine now bro..
M-It's Lauren... she's the one who done it. The police contacted Ads before we could tell her. She's yelled and blamed Dec, who already blames himself. She's gone on breakdown and locked herself in upstairs. Decs broken as he already blames himself, Teddy's confused, tired and upset and Evelyn needs a bottle and is unsettled. I cant do it all lads. Help me please.
H- I'm like 3 mins away
J- I'm literally behind Hendo
B- I'm behind Jack.
M- thanks boys

I hear the boys pull up, I let them in and then Jordan says "I'll sort Ads, Jack sorts Teddy, Ben gets Evelyn and you go to Dec" they all nod. I go to Dec who's now getting angry but at himself. "Mate, it's not your fault. Ads don't mean any of it, she's just been through a lot" I say reassuring him he grips onto me and cries. I see Ben feeding Evelyn her bottle, while Jack calms Teddy down and they start getting his pyjamas on. I think Teddy's agreed to cuddles and Planes the movie with Jack.
ADDISON:
I hear a knock on the door, "go away" I say then I hear a voice I didn't expect, "Ads I'm not gonna go anywhere and you know that. Let me in please" I hear Jordan beg me. "I don't want to see anyone" I say through my tears. "I'm staying out here. I only found out about this all today Ads. We've been really worried. You've been stuck indoors for 2 weeks you need to talk even if it's through a door" Jordan says. I take a deep breath and say "2 weeks I've been living hostage in my house and head because of fear, all because of that bitch. I've been terrified Jordan" I hear him take a breath and then reply "Ads, I know you're not okay. Please unlock the door. It's killing  me hearing you break and not be there for you. Please Ads" he's now upset too. I stand up and unlock the door, he opens it immediately and hugs me tight. I breakdown and cry in his arms. Soon my tears stop as I feel myself falling asleep.
