Chapter 55

ADDISON:
It's been just over a week since the boys came round, they all went back to training last Monday, even Dec, he kept asking if I was sure and if I'd be okay but I will be. Today they have a game against Hungary, it's a Euro qualifier match for next year, they've got a few of the qualifier matches coming up. The game kicks off at 3, I've got myself and the kids ready, this will be the first time Teddy's watched all his uncles play together on the same team and will actually understand what's going on.
It's 2pm I arrive at Wembley, I came in and Uber as I can ride back with in Dec or Mase's car, whichever one drive today. I open the double buggy I have and lay Evelyn in the pram bit. Ted wants to walk to find daddy and Mason.
We walk through the reception I have my pass on me, I'm soon greeted with a familiar voice "Hello there, congratulations on this little one. Hey Teddy, you excited" it's Gareth, "hey Gareth, thank you. Would you like a cuddle?" He smiles at me "thank you, and keeping up tradition like I did with Teddy here, she can come and give the pre-match talk with me" I laugh as we head towards the changing room, Teddy hasn't realised that all his uncles are in there, he's used to the chelsea matches. The door opens and I walk in with Teddy, he stands in the middle and looks around. He looks at me and says "mama, there daddy, Masey" he runs to them then says "All uncles here" they all say 'aww' and talk to Ted, he looks around and I know he's looking for Jack. "Daddy, where Dack?" Declan laughs "nice to see you too son, Uncle Jack will be back soon he's just getting his knee cleared" I give Dec a kiss and sit between him and Mase, they see Gareth's got Evelyn. About 5 minutes later, Jack walks in not knowing we're here, Teddy spots him and shouts "UNCLE DACK" Jack grins at him catching him as he runs and spins him around. Teddy sits with Jack during the talk, once it's done. They head to warm up and we head to the seating area.
The game gets ready to start they are all lining up in the tunnel, Rebecca is next to me having her cuddles with Evelyn whilst I have an excited Teddy on my lap, I tell him they'll be coming out soon, so we head to stand up so he can see them. Rebecca stands next to me. They start walking out and every single one of them wave to Teddy, who excitedly waves back, like usual Dec blows a kiss and makes a heart, mouthing love you, Mase blows a kiss, Jack and Jordan both wave and blow a kiss.
The game is a pretty good game for the boys by half time it's 2-1, in so proud of them. The second half starts and Hungary score making it 2-2. We're all on the edge of our seats then we see Jack get the ball, pass it to Jordan who gets it closer to the goal but the Jack gets into position, he passes it to Jack who shoots and scores. Teddy screams in joy, alongside me and Rebecca. Evelyn slept through most the game but it meant I could focus on Teddy. They finish the game England winning 3-2. Me and Rebecca head down to meet the boys, we stop and wait by a tv screen, we can watch the interviews after. They interview Mase and Dec;
I- Good game boys. Dec how's does it feel to be back admittedly a lot of people were shocked you were back playing already, you only had a new daughter 2 weeks ago.
D- Yeah I did, but with the training and matches being close to home. I'm not too far and my wife is amazing, she's a great mum and wife. She encouraged me to come back and play, my son loves to watch us all play and this time round he understands more and playing for England altogether is a dream come true for him, seeing his dad and uncles play together rather than different teams.
I- I hear you say Uncles, meaning plural, do you have competition Mason?
M- Never, uncle Mason is always number one. But the lads are amazing, they are our family, and that is whether it's international break or normal premier league time. We're always family.
I-it's good to hear your all close.
They carry on with a few more questions then it goes to Jack and Jordan's interview.
I-Amazing goal boys. The winning goal how did that feel?
JG- Honestly, it feels well good man.
I- it's a proud moment, we're presuming you've all got a special someone in the crowd as the whole team waved and acknowledged the stand.
JH- yeah, obviously my wife is in there supporting me but we was all waving and acknowledging Teddy. He is Decs son, he's our nephew. He was so excited to see his Daddy and uncles play on the same team rather than against eachother.
I- Jack we've heard you talk about him in a previous match, as he's seen you play before does it change how special it is?
JG- Course not no, Jordan and I also had our Goddaughter in the stand, she's only a couple of weeks old so she has no clue but having Teddy watching is always special. I think him watching us all play together is even more special.
I- Oh yes we all saw the cute godparent reveal post. A lot of people were shocked due to the situation...
JH- Right this is nothing to do with the game. It's very unprofessional
I-I'm sorry but it's a question on a lot of people's lips. You are very close
JG- I'm close to Ads but no one stars rumours about that. We are all a close family, we shouldn't have to justify that. Dec issued a statement which people chose to ignore. We are leaving this interview as it's unprofessional and disrespectful to Jordan, Ads, Dec, Jordan's wife and generally the team.

I hear the last questions and I've just learnt to deal with the hate online now it's being said about in interviews, before the lads turn up I say to Rebecca "Bex, I need a minute can you keep an eye on the kids please" she agrees and I run out, I don't know where to go, I head to the changing room as I know it'll be empty for a while.

DECLAN:
I hear the end of Jack and Jordan's interview, Gareth is fuming, so is Jack and Jordan. Mase is calming me down. When the 2 lads come over "I'm so sorry Dec" Jordan says. I hug them both "it wasn't your fault either of you" we walk toward the meeting area and I see Rebecca with the children. "Shit, I think Ads may have heard it too" they all reply with 'shit'. Teddy runs over to me, I give him cuddles before he goes to Mase, then Jordan and ends with Jack who he stays with. I walk up to Rebecca. "She heard didn't she" Rebecca nods. "I'm sorry Bex," I say, she tells me not to worry about it, I'm just about to go find Ads when Evelyn, starts waking for a feed. Mason pats me on the shoulder "Sort your daughter bro, I've got Ads. I'll find her and talk to her." Just as Mase says that a member of staff says "Changing rooms" and smiles so Mason heads there.
