Chapter 62

ADDISON:
Today is match day, one of mine and Teddy's favourite it's Chelsea Vs ManCity. Kick off is at 2pm today so the game will be finished by 3:45pm and we'll be out of there by no later than 4:30pm, meaning enough time to set up for our party tonight.
I've got me and all the kids ready, Teddy doesn't know who we're playing today, I have kept it as a surprise for him. Evelyn's probably going to nap throughout the match.
Unfortunately due to traffic we missed them warming up, but it's now 1:50 and the players are about the come out of the tunnel, I've got to know a few of the other Chelsea partners, I'm not as close to them as I am both of the Becca's, which I should see one of them today as I know she's come with Phil. I stand at the front with Teddy and he yells for Chelsea as they come out, all the chelsea boys wave at him, it's like ritual for them now. Then Teddy see's the ManCity players, he sees Kyle, Phil and John first who give a small wave then he sees Jack at the end and he screams and gets excited. Jack laughs and waves, he winks at us and I laugh at him.
The game gets underway and it's a hard game, both teams are playing really well. It gets to half time and the score is 0-0. Teddy's watching my phone, while I feed Evelyn a bottle, soon I hear "Hey you" I turn around and see Becca, I smile and say "Hey, glad I've seen you, I've got your cookies" I laugh and hand her the bag. She thanks me and we chat about everything and catch up, Ronnie sits with Teddy and watches Peppa Pig. Becca tells me she heard about what Hannah did. We talk all about that, and we also notice she's working here today. Becca apologises, that she won't be able to come to the party tonight as she's taking Ronnie to her parents, as she's got a work event on Sunday, but we make arrangements to meet up during the week. Before we know it, they're coming out for the second half, Becca and Ronnie decide to stay with us, Dec and Mase piss themselves laughing as they see Becca and Ronnie with me and Ted. Then the city players come out and Phil isn't paying attention until Jack nudges him, then he shakes his head laughing as Becca blows him a kiss.
At the 49th minute, the stadium falls silently, Dec and Jack both go for the ball and end up tackling eachother, they both end up in the floor. The commentators, say about how both boys have tempers and it could cause a riff between them but they get up and both shake hands, the stadium erupts at the friendly sight. Becca and I both laugh, then 5 minutes later, Ben scores for Chelsea, the boys are so happy. Teddy cheers, telling us all that Uncle ben scored. The game is so intense as they're both playing really well, then at the 87th minute, Jack passes to Phil and he scores making the score even at 1-1. The whistle blows at 90 minutes, there's cheers all around. We head down to meet the boys, unfortunately for Jack and Phil, they get told to do an interview but it's with Hannah.
Interview:
H-So a draw for ManCity, equaliser scored by you Phil? How does that feel for the team?
P-A draw is always better than a loss, and any premier league game is never easy.
H-Jack, we saw the altercation with Declan on the field what happened?
J- There wasn't any altercation, we both collided when going for the ball. We got up and shook hands. All that people saw was what happened. I just want to make that clear before people start seeing things that clearly aren't happening!
H-Wow that was to the point. Obviously we saw you all wave to the family stands both sides. And what happened at the second half Phil?
P-Oh yeah, well at the beginning, when we came out obviously all the lads know my little boy and waved to him on our side but then we had Decs little boy, in the Chelsea side, so he also loves it when we wave to him aswell.
H-What happened after halftime?
P- That's funny, actually my mrs and son, had gone to the chelsea side to say hi to Decs wife and son, but they ended up staying there, that's what we was laughing at. There's honestly nothing against it as we're all family and get on amazingly.
H-Yeah sounds very cosy.
J-Thanks for the interview.

They leave the interview and head to the tunnel. Just after we watch that, we see the Chelsea boys coming in. Teddy runs to Dec and gets picked up into a cuddle. Mase hugs me and picks Evelyn up who's now woken up.Dec comes over and gives me a kiss and cuddle, with a 'eww' from Teddy which makes them all laugh.
Soon Dec takes Evelyn and Mase has Teddy until he gets down as he sees the city players, so he tells us he's waiting for Uncle Jack.
Ben says "you look stressed, you okay?" This gets the attention of the other 2 boys, I smile and say "yeah I'm okay thanks Chilly." He laughs as Dec says "we don't believe you but I'll leave it for now."
We hear Teddy yell "DACK" as he runs to him, causing every person in this area to smile at the cute scene unfolding. Jack comes over and he puts Teddy down as he places his shirt over him. Dec and Mase, laugh and shake their head as Teddy goes to show them his new top. Jack hugs me tight and says "Hey you" I smile and say "enjoy your interview" he rolls his eyes and laughs "I think she got the point. I've got a surprise for you" he says and i furrow my eyebrows in confusion. "What is it?" I ask and he laughs loudly "if I told ya, it wouldn't be a surprise" everyone laughs and agrees.
As we get into the car park, I say goodbye to Becca and get into the car with the children, soon Dec joins me in the passenger seat. We've made plans that we'll go shop on way home for the party.
As we're driving, I say to Dec "Decsy, you know you're my husband and you love me..." before I can finish the sentence he says "I'm not telling you Jacks surprise baby. You'll have to wait patiently." I sigh and he laughs.
