Angst chapter warning
You and Dabi have gotten I guess a bit far. When you guys eat dinner he wants to eat alone. It didn't really bother you the first couple of times but now you're starting to wonder if he has a new lover. As you're coming home from work you put the key into the lock and twist the knob open. Before you even open the door you hear some sounds coming from the dining. You think its just Dabi's phone but when you open the door you see a suprise.
You see Dabi kissing another girl. You drop your keys in shock, anger whatver. Dabi looks at you with an 'oh shit' kind of look and stops kissing the girl. You walk over to Dabi angerly. Dabi looks nervous as you get every inch closer to him. "Oh, hi babe I didn't think you'd come home early." Dabi says about to scratch the back of his neck nervously.
I grab Dabi by his arm. Yanking him up, I ask him "are you cheating?" Of course I know the answer but I just wanna see what he says."N-no I wasn't." With a nervous voice. I look in him in the eyes. He may say lies but he has some honest eyes. I use my powers and read his mind... no way.. he's been doing this for 2 weeks now. He fooled me I thought this was something he started today.. damn.
I think he knew I read his mind because he had this nervous smile plastered on his face. The girl he was kissing gets up and smacks him leaving a red hand print on his cheek. "You liar." The girl says before storming out of the room Dabi tries to stop her from leaving but I keep my grip on him. We have to finish this conversation. "You fooled me again.." I say to Dabi, Dabi looks me in the eyes and I grab him by the neck. "I'm sorry, I won't do it again" Dabi says trying to convince me not to break up with him.
I look him in the eyes. "I know you won't do it again.. cause I'm leaving." I say Dabi gasps and looks shocked. But he then relaxes and I soften my grip on his neck. "I'm sorry Y/N.." Dabi says "You better be." I say before going to our shared bedroom. we'll net shared anymore but you get the idea. I pack my stuff and Dabi is waiting in the hallway.
He tries to pull me into a hug but i pull away from his grip. "Goodbye Y/N I love y-" "if you really loved me you wouldn't have cheated on me.."I cut him off draging my suit case towards me. Dabi looks sad and frowning at me, cause I'm leaving him.. for good, it's for the better cause like my mom said 'once a cheater always a cheater.'
I put my suit case in the back of my car and get in the driver's seat and start up the car and start to drive away. I put my phone on aux before I drive and play my sad playlist. I shed one tear cause I loved him but I can't go back to him. Guess I'm going to have to get a house.
