when they arrived at the hotel and checked in, they were all given rooms that they shared with someone. peter with ned, guinevere with mj, and colin was put with flash.

flash grabbed the key and walked up to colin giving him a fist bump. they waited for guinevere and mj to catch up to them before they took off to their rooms. as they walked away, colin heard peter talk to ned.

"since when was colin friends with flash and his sister?"

"ya know, your sister kills me dude." colin said to flash who came out of their shared bathroom in his bathing suit. colin had already changed and had his t-shirt on.

"why, what did she do to you now?" flash inquired, laughing at his misfortune. he walked to his luggage and threw in his clothes from before in there and sat on his bed staring at colin.

colin had his face planted in his pillow, aggravated. picking up his head so his voice wouldn't be muffled, he turned it to flash. "she is the she-devil who convinced me to come to dc. if it was up to me i'd be home right now watching teen wolf reruns."

flash laughed once more before throwing a pillow at colin's back. "that's your fault for being friends with her, i live with her."

groaning, colin stood up and grabbed his phone off the nightstand. "speaking of the devil, qwen texted and said for us to start heading down. she's already by the pool with mj, so i'll head down now. go get the rest of the group." the two nodded and split up.

arriving at the pool, colin saw quinevere already in the hot tub with mj reading their book on a lounge chair. taking off his shirt and hiding his phone in it, he made his way to quinevere and got in next to her.

"hey dork, took you long enough."

"shut up." colin laughed as everyone else came in. he didn't see peter or ned, which raised suspicion. grabbing quinevere's phone, ignoring her protests, he texted peter off her phone.

"the stupid twerp is being suspicious. my dad has me on babysitting duty, remember?" colin explained to quinevere who nodded.

"right, i forgot that you were put on spidey detail."

"leave me alone." colin groaned which quinevere laughed at. she took her phone back and shut it off, putting it on the ground behind them so it doesn't fall in the hot tub.

everyone else eventually got in, liz sitting on the edge, flash across from colin with abe next to him. betty was next to mj on the lounge chair on her phone.

"hey colin, are you and quinevere dating?" choking on his spit, he turned to liz who had asked.

ignoring the laughter from mj, betty, flash, and quinevere, he stuttered, "no. no, we're not."

"hm, you two look cute together."

"thanks." quinevere smiled at the girl, throwing her arms around colin's shoulders. quinevere didn't like liz as much as colin. rolling his eyes, colin accepted the embrace and leaned into her.

"god, i'm exhausted. what time are we waking up in the morning?" colin asked, the question for anyone who could answer.

"seven am i think. right, liz?" the girl nodded and colin groaned.

"i'm so not a morning person."

flash ran out of the hotel room screaming. this caused the group to look at him strangely. he just pointed at the door and they watched as colin left the room, eyes dark and a pissed-off expression.
