Chapter 13: Deja vu?

As I started to move away not answering him cause who knows he might be able to recognise me but then he started approaching me .I was scared what to do but he kept on questioning me who I was . Well I left it all upto god just help me ..

It was my brother Loren.

Marlin was already in a hesitation like she just came and this had it happened . She thought maybe luck didn't favor her much after all .

But it did .

When Loren was about to approach . He was called from behind . It was the count . He has something to discuss with him . So he called for him. Understanding the necessity of the situation he said , "Okay, I'm coming ..." Loren was still suspicious of the guy who's not familiar which was actually Marlin but he had to rush to his father since he kept in calling again and again .
After Loren left ; Marlin made a heave sigh of relief while falling to the ground .

Thinking , "I've escaped big time !!"

She started hearing songs from inside . Understanding the fact the music might have started and people are dancing now . So she went inside and stood in a corner to see the whole setting . Unlike last time the ballroom was way more glorious. She's kind of feeling pity if she hadn't come she would miss it . It's good that she came even in disguise .

She started walking as an act around ladies because she knew ladies circle means a stand out gossiping corner among many things . Interesting enough you can get many information and about many rumours from this gossip . Even insults of poor nobles and girls .

"I've heard both prince are attending today but I can't see anyone ..", said one girl .

Another started saying, "True but I won't go until I see the both prince tonight . Who knows we might not get this chance again ..?"

Marlin was curious . Since she still don't know which prince she actually met . Because no one knows their fine description yet since they are twins; people said it's hard to differentiate the two of them .

She went away . Those gossiping girls peeked behind where Marlin was leaving . It looks they actually did notice that Marlin was staring at them all the time to know their information but fortunately they didn't know it was Marlin De Cloria of the count family.

"Phew I was quite scared ; that guy was staring at us so creepily . I wonder what he wanted to know from us ."
"Exactly but he kind of looked familiar . I wonder where I saw that man , hmm...", one said .

"To what the ladies curiosity is gaining hmm?", said a guy who was standing behind them .

"Omg! Your highness !", they all bowed.
"Please raise your heads ...", he said .
"Nothing just a random guy was staring at us . So we felt uncomfortable for that reason", a girl said . She was quite shy so she kind of stuttered. She has liked his highness for a long time so she tried to speak first but when she looked at his eyes it seemed he's unnoticed by her.

"Is that so ...?", he gave a formal smile .
"Yes...", the ladies all said together .
"Well , he could be an intruder in the ballroom . You see we face many assassination attempts so could you kindly tell me where he went?", he asked politely to the girls who were still busy blushing hard .

One of the girls pointed towards by her hand ; the second floor as Marlin actually went to that direction .

"Thank you , please enjoy the party ."
"Yes your highness . You too", they all bowed .
The prince went away to the direction of the second floor .
