Chapter 40 : Something is going?

After Marlin is prepared and ready to go to the Royal Palace to meet Ethan and discuss whatever this matter is, she is suddenly stopped by Sina who says that she will go too. This comes as a bit of a shock to Marlin, and she is feeling a bit caught off guard by this decision.

"Wait, you're going too? I mean , why though?", Marlin ask in a voice that's a mix of confusion, concern, and exasperation.

Sina's feeling more impatient and less enthusiastic about all this, and she's being very pushy and insistant about coming along as well.

With a bit of a sassy and sarcastic tone, Sinia replies "Oh, yeah? I wants to meet Prince Ethan too? I mean, I'm sure he'd be really happy to meet me too..."

In a matter of fact and slightly sarcastic tone, Lanier responds "Now don't go get the wrong idea here. Prince Ethan only wants to meet with Miss Marlin, not you."

He has kind of a sarcastic and mocking tone when he says this, like he's annoying her a little bit. Lanier's voice carries a bit of sarcasm and some mockery in it when he says this, and he has a bit of an amused tone as well. He sounds like he's getting a kick out of the whole situation, and he sounds like he's just messing with Sina.

Sina responds in a bit of an angry and irritated tone, "So what? What does that make me? Just some third wheel tagging along while Prince Ethan and Marlin have their little conversation?"

She sounds really angry and irritated when she says this, and she sounds like she feels a little bit slighted by all of this. She sounds like she's feeling a bit resentful and like a bit of an outcast here, and she's definitely not happy about it. It sounds like there is more to this than she's letting on too. Her voice is laced with anger, bitterness, and resentment.

Marlin then ask, "Can we take her along?"

Lanier was surprised at her words but he noticed Marlin's expression which looked she was forced to say those words. He remembered Ethan saying she might have something to control her . So for now he nodded.

"Sure, if thats what you want, Miss Marlin." He looked at Marlin with a soft expression while looking disgusted when Sina made a happy expression.

The three of them quickly get into the carriage and they set off towards the Royal Palace for their meeting with Ethan. They are all determined and focused on their mission, and they ride in silence with a sense of determination and purpose. It's clear that they're all focused on the task at hand and they've got a lot of important work to accomplish in this upcoming meeting. They ride in silence together and their thoughts are full of the upcoming meeting with Ethan.

As soon as they reach the Royal Palace, they make a straight line for the throne room where Ethan is waiting for them. While they're making their way there, Marlin catches a glimpse of Lady Everi, and the first thing he notices is how striking and beautiful she looks.

She seems like a bit of a presence, and she's got an impressive regal air about her that instantly makes her stand out among the crowd.

Being quite curious, Marlin turns to Lady Everi and asks her "What are you doing here?"

She is genuinely curious and surprised about why Lady Everi is here, and her curiosity definitely seems to get the best of her for moment as she asks Lady Everi about this.

"Umm, Prince Mathias was the one who called me to the imperial palace . Although i have no idea what is the reason but i dare not disobey the royal family so i came in a rush...", Lady Everi replied.

"Oh?" Marlin responds, raising an eyebrow at this news. She seems quite intrigued by the fact that Mathias called Lady Everi here and she wants to know more about this. "That's very interesting...And what did Prince Mathias want?", she thought.

Marlin's voice carries a curious tone as she asks this and she sounds very interested to know more about the whole situation. Her curiosity is definitely getting the best of her as it's clear she's very eager to learn more about this whole situation and what it means. Her curiosity seems to be running away with her here.

Without as much determination as she had before, Lady Everi replies, "Well we've got a job to do then. Let's get to it. We're here on official business, so let's go and do what we have to do."

She seems to be treating this more like a business or task now that she needs to get done and less like a personal mission that she was on earlier. She sounds more business-like and straight faced now and she sounds like she's really just all about the work now as she's got a job to get done.

"I don't think its a business talk for you , Everi.."

Probably Romance, Marlin thinks.

Thinking this, she doesn't want to assume or jump to any conclusions, but she's starting to get that sense and feeling that there might be some romance going on here. This is certainly starting to spark more of her curiosity and it's clear she's got a lot of questions about what all of this means and where it might be going in the future. She doesn't want to jump to any conclusions here, but her curiosity is definitely growing and she definitely feels that things are starting to add up here.

Feeling this, Marlin then thinks to herself, "Well...if that's the case, good for them."

She sounds supportive and understanding here as she realizes this and she's clearly rooting for the two of them now.

As she watches Marlin, Everi then wonders, "Hmm...What on earth is Marlin thinking?"

She's clearly got a look of curiosity on her face, and as she watches Marlin she clearly feels an overwhelming urge to figure out what exactly Marlin is thinking.

Suddenly, Prince Mathis comes rushing in with an assistant running behind him. He looks like he's got an urgent situation on his hands and it's clear that he's got a lot on his mind right now. He seems like he's been working on something important, and he's clearly got a case of the nerves as he's got that typical stressed look on his face.

The assistant behind him looks like they're trying to keep up with the prince, but they're also a bit flustered as they can barely keep up. The two of them definitely seem like they're in a hurry.

With a bright and cheerful smile on his face, Prince Mathias says, "I see you have come here, Lady Everi. Welcome! We're so glad to have you here."

His tone is warm and friendly and he sounds genuinely delighted and pleased to see her. He seems like a man who is truly happy and pleased to have Lady Everi to visit and he sounds like he's genuinely looking forward to getting to know her more. He seems like a kind and friendly man, and it's clear from the way he speaks that he is indeed a true gentleman.

At his words, Lady Everi turns to him now and she smiles widely and she beams at him as she looks completely floored and taken aback by his sudden appearance out of nowhere.

Making this thoughtful gesture, Prince Mathias kisses Everi's hand as a sign of respect and consideration

"Everi blushed real hard . Well that was expected. Sure enough those two's romance started I see..", Marlin thought .
