Chapter 27: Marlin's weakness

It wasn't a dream. It actually happened.

The door disappeared.

"No, no....", Marlin started scratching her head constantly. She waited and waited but the door wasn't there anymore...

She doesn't know whether she should call it good luck or bad luck. Even if i am in this world but-

Marlin looks at Sina who was staring at her . She didn't had an ounce of sadness or confusion look in her face .
Rather she looks pleased. She then stood up and started walking away.

"S-Sina...?", Marlin asked while still being shocked from what happened.

Sina looked back.

"Aren't you sad or shocked...?", Marlin asked .

"No, why ....", Sina replied back without being bothered by anything.

She then came closer to Marlin while she grabbed her hair strongly , "I didn't returned back to meet those foolish family . I am happy to leave them anyway. I needed you the most..."

"Huh...?"

Sina smirked , "You're my gateway to becoming rich and most powerful to trample this damn nobles or whatever they are ..."

As Marlin struggled, "Let go of my hair..."

But Sina didn't listen back. She continued to do so as her grip was stronger than Marlin. But in the time , Sasha came inside the room by talking with one of her maids.

"Sister....?!", Loren saw Marlin struggling and came rushing and she pushed Sina hardly . While she covered Marlin with his arms.

"What the hell are you doing to my sister you bitch...?!", Sasha asked angrily.

"Loren...?",Marlin trembled.

"Yes, sister. Its fine so don't worry about it at all I'm here for you ...", Loren made a reassurance to her.

"Not that.. FROM WHERE DID YOU LEARN SAYING SUCH LANGUAGE...!!", Marlin was shocked while holding Loren's and staring deeply.

"Oopsie..", Loren laughed it off. "Slip of the tongue you know , hehe." Looks like Marlin has a lot ahead to understand her adorable little brother more.

"Tch...", Sina got up.

Marlin was startled. Loren looked closely at his sister . He could sense she was kind of off around that maid which was indicating Sina . But what was the reason he doesn't know but he wants to make sure his sister isn't uncomfortable.

"Introduce yourself..", Loren demanded an explanation. Even though he was a young child his deep glare was quite a sight .

As expected of a noble.

Marlin looked at Loren with confusion then at Sina. Because if she was a noble ; Loren wouldn't have a problem knowing her beforehand. Since he literally knows every nobles in our kingdom. When Marlin and Sina confronted before Marlin didn't get time to realise that Sina was in shabby clothes now she noticed.

"I can understand why shes poorly dressed but my sister ..", Loren softly held Marlins face which was kind of scratched by Sina when they were struggling .

"Why is my beloved sister in shabby clothes as well..?", loren asked with a pitiful face.

Confusion flooded Marlin's mind, drowning her in doubt and questions.

Marlin hesitated and then answered that she wanted ti try out the clothes the commoners used to wear . As a noble she cant go wearing those clothes so shes trying those at home . She stammered while answering that.
It's obvious that it wasn't a logical answer but hoping that Loren would buy it . Because she doesn't think she has any more to reply if he asks more questions altogether .
