Chapter 31 : Stupid Sina

While he still wanted to watch her long but he has duties to perform as a prince so he cant leave the crowd anytime soon. He just sighed not able to see her more while he continued to meet with the distinguished guests.

Marlin went to the balcony to cool off her head. Looks like she went off after noticing Sina entering the hallway and without any escort. She grumpily entered the hallway while after she was noticed by the crowd . People kept whispering to each other about the identity of the unknown figure since the staffs also dont know who she is...

"Who is she ...?", a lady asked another lady.

"I wonder too but look at her dress. Its so extravagant and jewels embedded from head to toe . Judging by her outward appearance she doesn't seem like some random noble or lower nobles at that...", said another.

But Sina assumed it as a sign that she caught the nobles attention through her beauty. She thought the male and gentleman were thinking shes quite a catch but unfortunately the guys doesn't seem to be interested in her and what she thought was quite the opposite to whats she's thinking. Even the royal family were confused by her sudden intrusion.

Of course Prince Ethan noticed her too as usual. He of course doesn't know her for which he asked Lanier who she was . Subsequently Lanier doesn't know .

"If you want your highness , i can find it out for you as soon as possible and relay it to you!", Lanier said. Prince Ethan nodded and Lanier went for his work.

Soon after Lanier left he came really soon afterwards not wasting a single moment because Prince Ethan doesn't like wasting time . Shilia was also trained that way and was made into a punctual being to work under him in dedication.

"So..?", Ethan asked.

Lanier replied that , "She's a distinguished guest under the name of House Cloria; the counts family. From the statement of the staff it was found out that she was placed under Miss Marlin's friend. Her family members only know her as her friend and they knows nothing about her beyond that..."

"Is that so...? Friend huh?", Prince Ethan smirked. Of course after encountering with Marlin he did a background check on her ; he knows her past too well that he remembered that Sasha is Marlin's only friend and also an unimportant part that Loren; her younger brother is a siscon .

He looked at Sina one more time and started laughing. Lanier doesn't seem to understand whats going on..

"That arrogant girl is definitely not a noble!", Ethan was saying those to Lanier. " Not a single level of courtesy and she's not even close to pretty but see how much pride she has in her face that it makes me want to trample on her badly. I hate arrogant and boastful people and now she's boasting off her extravagant dress. I already assume she got it from the counts family definitely..!"

Lanier replied after hearing from Ethan, "But to give a commoner such an extravagant dress. Even she also surpassed Miss Marlin's dress in worth.."

Prince Ethan shrugged and told him to think of the situation differently in perspective.

"What if she forcefully took the dress from Marlin..? Doesn't that all makes sense...?"

"But to threaten a noble while being a commoner..? Thats absurd if you think that way. Its more of like asking of death. Commoners don't stand a chance against nobles."

"Thats true until they grasp the weakness of the nobles and use it as a media to threaten them. What will happen then? In the end aren't they bound to comply what the upper person wants?"

"You mean to say , miss Marlin is under obligation to follow that unknown lady...?", Lanier asked in a confused state.

"It seems so . Judging by her appearance she seems to want to curry favour's and be famous. And our society's people are too blind. They are judging her being a noble just by her outward appearance and not by her course of actions which doesn't show anything......but"

"But..?", Lanier leaned forward being curious to what he was gonna say.

"Her eyes gives the look who wants to look down on us people. A person hungry for power... well her eyes makes me remind of a same person..."

"You don't mean-

"Yes. Him."

Prince Ethan looked around but didn't see Marlin coming back. It hasn't been long since he saw her but his heart felt like it wanted to see a bit more . Obviously the prince was unaware what this emotions running through his mind was because its all so new to him since he never felt this before. Well , now that it had to led to this , theres nothing to do...

"I think that dumb girl got herself into quite a big trouble. Well she amazes me every encounter we meet so i think I'm more curious to what made you bounded by her if there's something more to it...", Ethan thought while imagining if he would be able to get more interesting news this way.

"Find out what that stupid lady has been plotting against lady Marlin and inform in no time!", he asked in a stern voice meaning its really serious. He also added to leave him alone for a while . He needs to do something.

"Yes, your highness. Your wish is my command", Lanier bowed while saying that and then he vanished into the hall room looking for the clues prince Ethan asked of him while not misspending at all.

Prince Ethan noticed Prince Mathias talking to some public officials. Not paying any special attention to it he went away from the room ; not knowing Prince Mathias was watching him all along and grew suspicious. His eyes were looking sharp as he saw him leaving from his sight.

"Should i follow him...?", he wondered. It made him curious to where he was going when he was supposed to stay in the room like all other royals were already staying and meeting important people.

On the other hand -

"Sigh....! There's not any signs of the prince ughhh!", Sina basically came for the prince but she saw not even trace of him . She already from the gossip from other ladies that Prince Ethan was extremely handsome so she set her eyes on him from the very first. Now she doesn't even have one percent interest on other princes.

"Marlin must have her eyes on him too. I have to capture him and show off to other ladies that who has the upper hand on this regard and to see the look of disappointment on her face is refreshing...!", she thought with a laugh.

But she had to find the prince first. A hint of worry was looked on her face . She doesn't want any way for Marlin to meet him before she meets him ; that will spoil her plan once and for all . Because Marlin has the upper hand since she was born as a noble in this world while she's commoner .

Too bad for Sina that what she really feared has actually came true . And you may already know it meant...!
