Ethan sat at his desk, going through his documents with a sense of urgency. He was deep in thought, his mind racing with all the details he needed to keep track of. He let out a heavy sigh, his head filled with so many thoughts that he could barely keep track of them all.

In the midst of his work, he suddenly heard a knock at the door. "Come in," he called out, his tone authoritative and firm.

The door opened, and Lanier entered the chamber, his face solemn and serious as he approached Ethan. "My lord," he greeted him with a bow of respect.

"Of course, your highness ," Lanier replied with a respectful bow. "I will make the necessary arrangements as soon as possible."

But Lanier hesitated.

"Can I ask the reason, your highness?"

"Of course, Lanier," Ethan replied, his voice filled with genuine curiosity and concern. "I would be happy to discuss the reason for my meeting with the Empress"

Ethan's gaze was filled with determination as he explained his reason for wanting to meet with the Empress. "I am deeply concerned about the recent events in the North," he began. "The disappearance of Sina has caused major disruptions to the balance of order, and the Imperial army needs to take action to ensure peace and stability is maintained in our lands."

He paused for a moment, his eyes fixed on Lanier with a sense of firmness and conviction.

"Furthermore, I am also concerned about the situation with Aiden," he continued after a moment. "His unruly behavior poses a threat to the Empire, and it is necessary"

Whether the Empress approved of his plans or not, he was ready to do what was necessary to keep the Empire safe.

We need to take decisive action, and we need to take it now. The disappearance of Sina is an ominous development, and it is only a matter of time before the consequences are felt across the Empire.

"My lord, those are valid concerns, and I understand the urgency of the situation. However, we must also consider the consequences of our actions.

"I hear your concerns, Lanier, and I understand your cautions. You are right that we must be careful in our decision-making, and I will not make any actions lightly"

"I understand.."

Lanier turned and left the room, his footsteps fading away as he made his way down the grand halls of the palace. He had a sense of urgency, but he also knew how important it was to do things properly according to protocol.

He would make sure that everything was arranged for Ethan's meeting with the Empress, and he would ensure that it was done in the most appropriate and respectful manner.

Ethan walked to the balcony, his mind filled with thoughts and concerns. He felt a sense of urgency and the weight of responsibility on his shoulders, and he knew he had to take a moment to clear his head and gather his thoughts before continuing.

"I must be strong and decisive, and I must act now before it is too late."

Ethan turned to the palace gates, a look of surprise on his face as he spotted Lady Marlin and Lady Everi standing there.

"What in the" Ethan muttered, a gasp escaping his lips
as he took in the sight. His face filled with genuine confusion as he tried to make sense of what he was seeing.

He quickly moved towards the gates, the sound of his footsteps filled with purpose. He had a sense of urgency and he wanted to get to the root of the situation as soon as possible.
