Chapter 34 : Faithful new friend

Everi was walking down the sidewalk when suddenly she bumped into Marlin. Everi was surprised and a bit startled by the sudden encounter, but she quickly composes herself. She feels a bit embarrassed by the unexpected bump, but she cannot help but notice how beautiful Marlin is. Everi cannot help but feel a little bit flustered and nervous, and she tries to keep calm and collect herself. Everi can't help but wonder if Marlin is feeling a bit awkward too, or if it was only her.

Everi is feeling pretty embarrassed and self-conscious right now after she bumped into Marlin, but she then tries to turn the situation around by asking Marlin if she would like to be friends. It's a bit of an awkward situation, but Everi is hopeful that Marlin will understand and agree.

Everi is a little nervous, but she can't help but feel excited at the idea of becoming friends with someone as beautiful and awesome as Marlin. Hopefully Marlin will feel the same way about becoming friends with Everi.

"I would really love to be friends with you! I know you just saved my sister, but that's only part of what makes you so great. You are really awesome to talk to, and I get the feeling that you would be a really good friend. You have already demonstrated such kindness and bravery by helping my sister, so I can only imagine all the other things you are capable of. I would love to get to know you better and see how our friendship grows."

Oh, really? You would like to be friends with me? I am... I am really honored!" I say, still surprised but happy. "I would love to be friends with you. You seem like a really great person, and I think we could learn a lot from each other. I am really touched by the offer, and I would be happy to accept your invitation to friendship." I say, smiling.

Everi and Marlin are chatting happily. They are laughing and joking around, and it is clear they are enjoying each other's company. They are both happy and comfortable around each other, and it is clear they have established a strong connection and friendship. They seem to agree on many things, and they are enjoying each other's company. It is clear that these two will become good friends, and it is clear that their friendship will only grow stronger over time. They have started off on a great foot, and it is clear they will have a friendship that lasts a lifetime.

Everi remembers the time she saw Marlin standing with Ethan. They were holding hands, which shocked her. She is surprised, and she cannot help but stare. She is wondering how long they have been holding hands like this, and she is a bit jealous of them. They seem to be very close and intimate, and Everi can tell that they are really comfortable with each other. Everi cannot help but feel a bit jealous of their relationship; but she is also happy for them and happy that she got to witness it.

"I wish i could tell her that i actually saw romance between you and Prince Ethan since we became friends but it would be so awkward gahhh!", Everi thought.

At the same time, Marlin saw Everi being embraced by Prince Matias. Marlin could not help but feel surprised, but also a little bit jealous. She isn't  sure the two of them are very close, and she cannot help but see this interaction as intimate. She feels a bit sad knowing that she has not experienced something like this before, and she also feels a bit self-conscious and shy after being witness to such a display of affection. Maybe she needs to find someone like that for herself.

"I saw them immediately after Prince Ethan left the scene. But did they notice us? Damn I cant even ask such an embarrassing question!?!", Marlin internally screamed.

Both Marlin and Everi are thinking the same thing, "what should I do?" They cannot help but feel confused and a little lost. They are not sure how to proceed from here. It is clear that something has happened between them, but it is unclear what their next steps should be. Their thoughts and feelings are all a bit muddled right now, which is making it difficult for them to act rationally.

It is already getting late in the day, and they all have to return to the party soon.

Everi stood up in order to go back first. Marlin nodded. Before leaving Everi said, Thank you so much for helping my sister! I've been so worried for her. You really saved her life. If you hadn't stepped in, I honestly don't know what would have happened to my sister. You are a true hero. I am forever grateful to you for what you have done." I say, still surprised and shocked. I hope these words are good enough to
express my gratitude ...

Wow... i can't believe you think that highly of me! I'm just glad I could do something to help. I don't know if I truly deserve such high praise, but it makes me feel good to hear it. What I did didn't seem that brave or heroic to me, but it's nice to be recognized." I say, a bit shy and humble, but clearly happy and honored with the praise.

Marlin watches Everi's face. Everi is so cute when she smiles! Marlin cannot help but feel a little envious, but she also feels happy seeing her new friend so happy. It is an odd mix of feelings that are a bit hard to explain, but Marlin is happy for Everi and her crush.

She hopes that the two of them can work things out and be together. It seems like they really like each other. After that Everi went into the crowd. Marlin sat there because she doesn't want to see Sina's face.

On the other hand,

Sina kept looking for the prince but they weren't around. Sina goes into the ball party with an agenda. She has a plan, and her goal is that this is the ball where she catches the Prince's eye and seduces him for her own gain. She is desperate to get her plan into action, and she is not going to let anyone stop her tonight. She quickly makes her way to the ball, and begins her search for this Prince. She is determined and focused, and she is going to make this night a success, even if it means risking everything.

Rather ugly guys who are a little interested in her started approaching her rather than the prince...

"Ugh, not these guys... again... they are just so... annoying and gross. This is not what she came here for! She came here to find the Prince, not be bothered by these pathetic guys. She brushes them off, and keeps searching the place for the Prince"

Fortunately...Sina spots Prince Ethan across the room, and she is instantly overcome with excitement and butterflies in her stomach. She approaches him with confidence, feeling deep attraction to this handsome Prince. This is exactly what she was searching for, and she knows she has to act fast to win his affection.
