I finally calmed down after a couple more minutes.

"I'll sleep on the couch then.. will you be alright?" Daniel asks.

I look up to him with swollen eyes "Could you stay? Only if you don't mind I don't want to make you even more uncomf-"

He smiles at me but interrupts me "I feel more then comfortable with having such a beautiful woman laying in my bed" He says with a wink.

I laugh. "That's it!!" he says causing me to give him a questionable look and causing him to laugh before he continues "Your smile. That's what I want to see!"

I smile at him "Thank you Daniel.. You're a real friend"

"EH no we're not doing this.. You won't throw me in the friendzone without a fight"

I laugh "Well to be fair Pierre was my best friend too before we s- oh shit.. never mind."

He laughs "Before you what..?"

I never told anyone before "Uhm nothing.. we will just forget that alright?"

"I think I already got it but of course we will forget about it" he says with a smile and a wink.

"And because I'm so grateful I won't throw you into the friendzone.. yet."

"Ah now that I know.. what I don't know.. I maybe don't mind the friendzone that much.."

I laugh at him and shake my head "Too late you're out"

He smiles.. god his smile is beautiful.. "I'll be back in in no time you'll see"

I smile "I guess we will"

We both keep talking and I fall asleep in his arms feeling more then safe.

The next morning I wake up alone in bed. I get up and see my phone on the charger.. cute.

Next to it I find a hoodie and a note on it.

'You should wear it on track today it's gonna make you day wayyy better. Sorry for leaving but Free Practice is waiting for me and I didn't wanted to wake you up after yesterday.. Hope to see you later Mil. Your (not friendzoned, friendzoned) Daniel <3'

I smile as I see he also left me his number there.. Daniel you're perfect. friendzoned or not.

I put on the hoodie and smile. It's not only comfy it also smells like him which gives me the chills. I take a picture and send it to him
