Pierre's POV

The past months have been very busy. I tried to focus on racing as good as possible, gave it my all every race.

I shouldn't be saying this, but I miss Lia.

We've spend a lot of time together for a few weeks and it was absolutely amazing. But I couldn't be her friend any longer.

As soon as I realised that my feelings for her never left, I stepped back. I couldn't. And I hate myself for that. I'm sick of missing her but it's better for both of us. She's happy and that's the only thing that matters.

I am in fact not.

Lia and I, no sorry... Emilia and I are back to only saying ‚hello' while trying not to die from the uncomfortable silence.

So yeah, life sucks. Even tho it's my fault.

After a long flight I finally arrive in my hotel room. I unpacked my bag and lay down on my bed, enjoying the silence for one minute.

Unfortunately my peace gets interrupted by a knock on the door. I sigh and open up, just to see my best friend smiling at me.

„Nadri mate what are you doing here?" He chuckles and enters my room, not even waiting for me to let him in.

„Don't pull that face on me, you love me."

„I just want a peaceful evening before the stress of this week."

„Yeah. Peaceful evening my ass. You're in a pissed mood ever since you stopped talking to.. Lia right?"

„Emilia to you." I interrupt him.

He laughs „Okayyyy. Anyways ever since you fucked things up you're in a shit mood. Seriously I have to meet her some day. That she always gives you another chance makes her seem crazy."

I Sigh „You don't need to meet her. It doesn't matter anyways."

„What I'm trying to say is.. You need to go out. Find yourself someone new. Get your head out of your ass. We are going to a Club tonight."

I shake my head „No"

„Hell yes. We're in Vegas!!"

„No Nadri. Seriously. I have a shit thon of media stuff to do this week. All I want is a calm night to settle before I'll take part in the Netflix Cup."

„Oh cmon mate. If you won't join me I'll go on my own..?"

„I'm sorry but definitely not this week."

He sighs „Alright. Then I go by myself and find some new friends ;) I'll pick you up around midday, then we can head to the Netflix Cup together."

„Thanks Mate. See you tomorrow and make sure you only go with the hottest one in the Club ;)"

He laughs „I promise!" then he leaves my room and closes the door.

I love my best friend. But ahead of such a busy week the last thing I want is going out.

I order some room service and watch some Netflix.

The only thing that would make this a perfect evening would be Lia. But I destroyed my chances of this tho happen to probably almost 0.

A race in vegas?? Absolutely crazy. I'll be honest the track layout doesn't seem too exciting but alone the atmosphere here is amazing.
