You miss it, don't you?
You miss the way it filled you, you miss the way it made you whole, you miss the way it made it all go away for a little while.
You always feel empty, even when you do the motions of the day nothing fills you, does it?
You never feel like a collection of things that add up to a full person, the drugs really helped that, didn't they?
You want it all to go away, when life leaves you aching you find what helps it all disappear, at least for a night, that's always how you've done it.
You miss it more than anything, above all else you miss it because life doesn't measure up to be what it does when you're high.
The sun shines brighter when you're high, the days are longer when you're high, it's like summer in a bag.
Why wouldn't you want that?
Why are you trying to stop when you know you won't stay that way?
Why are you wasting everyone's time?
You are so miserable without it, I can see it.
