We pull up infront of this luxurious house, and I'm amazed. I wouldn't think that vampires would prefer modern day aesthetics. "You ready?" Elijah asks me after turning off the car.
I let out a sigh. "Let's do this," I say. He gets out the car before me and comes around to my side. He opens my door to let me out while holding my hand. He closes the door behind us, and we walk up the steps.
He opens the door to his home, and I'm engulfed into the savoring smell of Rosh Hashanah Brisket and sweet smell of cinnamon pecan rugelach. "Whatever they're cooking smells amazing," I tell him with a smirk.

He sighs and rubs his hands down his face. "I seriously had no participation in this," he tells me. I shrug it off.
"It's OK. I could eat," I tell him. We walk towards the kitchen, and I see two people I don't know, guessing his parents, and the rest of the Cullens.
"Welcome Lilith, I hope you're hungry," a sweet woman says to me with a kind smile. I return the smile.
"We made Brisket and Rugelach," the kind man says to me.
"I'm down to eat, Mr. & Mrs. Cullen," I tell them, saying their names formally. They both then let out a chuckle.
"Please call me Esme," the kind woman suggests.
"And please call me Carlisle," the unknown man also suggests.
"Okay, Carlisle and Esme," I say kindly to them. The moments ruined by Edward opening his mouth.
"Why is this monster here?" He asks, spitting at me. This makes me and Eli give him a deadly look.
