Chapter Ten

Lily:

I woke up by my phone ringing. Tired I looked at the screen.

Fez😎

"Hello?"

"Lily we got fucking raided."

"What?" I gasped and was suddenly awake.

"Someone called the cops on me."

"Nate."

"Thats what I've been thinking."

"Shit... should I come over?"

"Yeah... maybe you could help us..."

"Okay. I'll get ready."

"Thanks."

I drove to Fez and knocked on the door.

"Hi." I said out of breath.

"Come in." He said and closed the door behind me.

"Did they find anything?"

"No, they didn't find anything and don't got shit on me." He looked back to me.

"Oh good..." I sighed relieved.

I helped clean up the house but I had to leave again because I had to study for an exam I had.

A few days later, school had started again and I was on my way home. I had to take the bus because my bike was broken, hopefully dad had fixed it by now.

I sat next to Tyler we had to go the same direction.

"Are you going to prom?" He asked me.

Prom was this weekend. I had no date but also the rest of my friends didn't. I hoped that Fez would go with me but he had already denied.

"Yeah. Are you?"

"Yes. Do you have a date?"

"Nope. I don't even have a dress." I laughed.

"Well shit..." He laughed and looked at me.

My eyes flickered over his face. "Do you have a date?"

"No. Maybe... I have to ask her."

"Mhhh, who?"

He shrugged. "I won't tell you. Maybe tonight at bowling when I know more."

"Yes! I'm excited for tonight."

"Yeah, it's gonna be fun." He smiled. "Oh I have to get out. Bye Lily." He stood up and waved.
