Chapter 2.

The next day when you woke up, for a moment you forgot about being promoted and found your new uniform in your closet waiting for you. After putting it on, you noticed a large box at the foot of your bed.

You open it up to find your new mask, just like the Golden Guard's except it was silver. You also saw a large staff in there. It was a replica of the golden guard's staff, but instead it was dark gray and black, with a teal gem thing at the tip.

When you were about to pick up the staff, the box shook for a moment as a scroll flew out right into your hands.

'What in Titan is this?', You thought to yourself as you opened the scroll.
It read

Staff of the new Silver Solider Modifications list:

1. The staff is made to help focus and consideration on casting spells to help control them, though it does not work entirely.

2. The staff operates like the Golden Guard's staff, as it is a modified replica made only for the individual with the condition. So it indeed has artificial magic.

3. With the magic is too much for the individual to control, it will create a small force field around her to contain her magic.

4. If the staff is ever damaged or destroyed entirely, inform Emperor Belos immediately. Otherwise the staff will not be able to be replaced.

After you read the scroll, you closed it up and placed in back in the box in case you'd ever need it later. You reached back for the staff. It fit weirdly perfect in your hand, as if it was made for you which was a bit strange.

'How was this made so fast, did Belos know I 'd get the promotion or something?' Your minds echoed through your head but you shrugged it off.

"The Silver Soldier, I could go with that." You said to yourself as you put on the mask. You grabbed your staff too and headed out of the room towards the entrance.

When you got there, you were confused to find he was no where in sight. You turn around to suddenly see a gold mask inches apart from your face.

"Hi there~."

You pushed him out of your face with a small yelp.

"What was that for!?"

"Just felt like messing with you." He shrugged and you could tell he was smirking under that mask.

"Uh okay then. Anyway, what's my first mission?"

"We're hunting some criminal down today. There are more spottings so we were able to track them down."

"That doesn't sound that bad I guess."

"Yep, super easy. Especially since we haven't been able to catch this guy for a year. Anyways, byeee!" The Golden Guard got onto his staff and suddenly flew off. "Hey!" You got on your staff also and flew off towards him.

After following him for awhile he landed in at the edge of some town, you landing next to him with a smirk under your mask.

"Oh, you're alive still. Interesting."

"'You're alive still'?" You glared at him.

"Well isn't that a good thing?"
