Chapter 9.

You and Luz and brought to the bridge, and you could see the Emperor is watching. Luz and you are both trapped in blue orbs so you can't escape.

Eda appears into a flash of yellow lightning and Lilith suddenly taps her staff on the bridge and Luz is brought to Lilith.

They start to fight and Luz gets tossed around in her bubble. Eda then starts to slow down and Luz is pushed back to the entrance.

She was able to pop her bubble and she went over to help you, you shook your head and she went over to Eda and Lilith. You start to pop your bubble on your own when Luz was suddenly tossed over the bridge.

"Luz!" You and Eda say at the same time and Eda tries to bring her back onto the bring but Lilith stops her. Eda then turns into the Owl Beast, she looked like she was going to attack Luz but Lilith captures her.

Luz tries to attack Lilith but Lilith tosses her away. You finally pop your bubble and use a spell grab your staff which had been left on the ground then teleport over to Luz as the doors closed.

"LUZ! Are you okay?! What just happened?...." You heaved with exhaustion and Luz didn't respond for moment. You've never seen her so shocked and upset before.

She finally responded. "It's- it's all my fault. If I just didn't try to steal that stupid hat-"

"Hey, hey, it's okay! It's not your fault, Luz! I should've done more to help."

"It's not your fault either."

Luz looks back at the Emperor's Castle.

"You probably can't go back now, right?" She turns to you and asks and you shook your head.

"Well then maybe you can stay at the Owl house! Once you get Eda back, you can come live with us!" You look at the Emperor's Castle and stay silent for a moment.

"But I can't leave H- I mean I can't leave the coven, I -I worked hard for this and I have a job to do." When you said this, you were really thinking about Hunter.

How could you leave him? After all, he was your only friend really besides Luz and her friends, and you cared about him a lot. Even though he still trusted Belos, you were still friends kinda.

"But you can't serve Belos after this! After all he's done, to you and to Eda-" Suddenly her face turns into one of terror.

"Y/N! WATCH OUT-"

All the sudden something grabs you from behind and you shriek. The scene changes and Luz disappears as you feel handcuffs being placed on your wrists.

You kicked your attack from behind, then when you're able to break free from their grasp you ran.

Four scouts are already waiting for you to that though.

You turn around to see about dozen scouts all ready to attack you at that second.

"What is going on?!"

"By order of Emperor Belos, you are now under arrest and are to be brought to the throne room for interrogation." Said one of the scouts and a golden aura surrounded you.

"Wh-" Before you could finish you're lifted into the air and brought back over to the scouts.

"You can't do this to me, I-"

"You have the right to remain silent."

You stared at him in shock.

The scouts took you to the throne room and you were silent the whole way. And the cuffs of course couldn't let you do any magic.
