Chapter 5.

(Small swear warning so yeah)

You woke up,did your routine and got your staff and go out the door. Like yesterday you find a piece of paper taped to your door. You took it off and read it.

"Going on a mission alone today for Belos so you have the day off. Do whatever you want."

You decided to go into town, and went back into your room. You changed from your uniform to some more causal clothes with your mask still on and your staff at your side.

You reached from under your bed and grab your book, the unauthorized Boiling Isles history. Then you grab a satchel and put the book inside.

You headed out of the palace and teleported over to town. You then get some food from the market place and you sat on a bench.

You brought out your book, the unauthorized of the Boiling Isles history, and started to read. It talked about the Titan and how the Boiling Isles is the only full Titan skeleton in the demon realm, how Emperor Belos ruled with an iron fist and about the coven system compared to wild magic.

It was all very interesting and you managed to finish the book in one sitting. You put the book back in the satchel and scroll through your Penstagram.

As you're scrolling, you suddenly get a notification. You realized it was a message from Luz, the human you met yesterday.

Luz: Heyyyyyyyyy whatcha doing

Y/N: nothing really right now tbh

Luz: So you're free?

Y/N: yea why

Luz: I got the second The Good Witch Azura book here now, when do you want it?

Y/N: can I actually come over today? i have a day off

Luz: That sounds great! Can you be here in a hour?

Y/N: yea sure

She sent you the address and you put the Penstagram away.

You reached into your satchel and pulled out the book again. You looked through the book trying to find something that tells you who the author is but there is nothing to be found.

Suddenly something on the title page catches your eye.

"This book belongs to: Evie Y/L/N."

Evie? Evie!?

You stare at it in surprise, and reread it just make sure you weren't hallucinating or something. You grab your staff and satchel and teleported back to your room in the emperor's palace.

'What in Titan is this?!'

You frantically search for the other book, Wild Magic, before you remember.

"Dammit, Hunter." You mumbled to yourself as you flopped onto your bed. You took off your mask, tossing it to the side.

You stare at the ceiling for a moment before you sit up. You go over to your closet, and grab your crystal ball bracelet.

It had been a while since you used it, since you weren't in the oracle track anymore. Even though you've always liked the Oracle track, you tried to do Potions also since you felt a bit limited in Oracle.

You only really joined the Oracle track at first because your dad was in the Oracle coven as well, and you wanted to follow in his footsteps steps. You did well in Oracle, since you didn't really need to use circle spells to summon spirits.
