Chapter 11.

Ever since you left the Emperor's Coven, you haven't been able to think straight.

On one hand, you're fighting against Belos now! He tried to turn Eda to stone and he and the coven lied to you about your magic!

On the other hand, you escaped the Emperor's Coven, the very Coven that you worked hard towards your whole life. And then you basically abandoned one of the only people you cared about so that's great.

You mind was just all over the place at the moment, and whenever that happened you always did one thing to calm down.

Sketch.

Evie got you your first sketchbook and ever since then, you would always carry one around. When you were stressed out, you sketch.

Sketching was just so calming for you. You didn't have to worry about whatever crap was going on in the world and you could just forget about it as long as you had the pencil on the page.

So you were now sitting at your new desk sketching, to almost forget about your problems.

Suddenly Luz barged into the room.

"AH!" Startled, you fell off your chair as Luz talked to her....phone you think it's called?

"And this is Y/N! Instead of having little to none magic like Eda and Lilith, her magic's more explosive and she uses a staff to control it. But when she doesn't have the staff, her magic goes haywire! And she left the Emperor's Coven to come live with us, but before that she was known as the Silver Soldier."

"What?...." You asked as you rubbed your head and got up.

"Oh, sorry for startling you, Y/N." Luz apologized.

"It's alright."

She left the room and you sighed.

"Kids! Time to bring these bad boys to the market!" Eda yelled and you put your sketchbook away and grabbed your staff, before heading down outside to the wagon.

You go into the market and there's a new large statue of the Emperor Belos himself.

"Wow the Emperor is really taking over." Luz says as she looks at the statue.

"Yeah, tell me about it." You mumble.

"I see it too, kids. And I'm trying to stay civil."

For your bounty, you only get half a snail and a small crowd laughed at Eda when she tried to perform magic. Lilith walked up to you three with a smile.

"Don't worry sister. At least my image still commands respect and fear." She then raised her fist triumphantly next to the poster with her on it.

Then someone came and disintegrated the poster with a flame thrower.

"Haha, you're a traitor." King laughed.

"What's going on!? This is anarchy! Who told you to do this?" Three Golden Guard posters flew on top of the old poster's ashes.

"The Golden Guard? Did you know guys know him in the coven?" Luz asked as she picked up one of the posters.

"Unfortunately we did." Lilith said as took the poster from Luz.

"He always got special treatment because he was the 'genius teen prodigy.' But he's really just a brat! If he's in charge, vomit. I have no idea how Y/N was able to be friends with him."

You tried not scream internally as Lilith crumbled up the poster and threw it in the trash, but instead it shot back at her and stuck to her face.

Luz looked back at you. "You're friends with him?"
