A/N: First story is about Linhardt! Lazy Lin XD

When I played through the Black Eagles route, I married him because he's just too damn relatable. He's actually almost exactly like how I was when I was a student (Which is saying something about the me of years ago, I'M OLD I KNOW ((I'm only almost 22 but I feel like such a boomer sometimes))

ANYWAY this is pre timeskip because war sucks for nap time. Of course, this being a story about Lin, involves naps.

ENJOY!!!! :D

[This chapter is fluff and comedy]

"Welcome, one and all, to the Garreg Mach Officers Academy! My name is Professor Manuela, but you can call me anytime," your professor, Manuela, winked at Ferdinand. All the other students were a bit taken aback by her advances. "I'm just joking, trying to get off on the right foot this school year unlike other years when I started the school year with a wicked hangover." That part was said more to herself but considering you were seated in the front row, you heard her loud and clear.

Your professor is sure gonna be an interesting character.

"Anyway, because I didn't plan any sort of lesson... At all, I have an idea! Your first set of homework is to find someone in class you think is interesting and spend a week getting to know them! Yes, yes, that's a wonderful idea. At least those kids will get out of my hair and leave me alone for a while. AHEM. I mean, go! Do the assignment starting now!" She was quick to shoo you all out of the classroom, probably so she can go on her newest escapade with a knight she met before class started.

Once all of the Black Eagles were outside, you looked at your fellow classmates to see who catches your eye.

You saw a woman with white hair, Edelgard von Hresvelg. She's the current princess of the Adrestian Empire. She's a bit short but her posture is quite imposing. You quickly crossed her out as an option as a terrifying man with black hair was stood next to her, taking her attention. Hubert von Vestra is her right hand man. Actually it's more accurate to call him her shadow. Anywhere she is, he is right behind. More so like a bulldog than a lost puppy.

To her left was Ferdinand von Aegir. His orange hair was bright, like a poppy. Every sentence of his sounded like when he was a child he read the dictionary in order to memorize it, and memorize it he did. [A/N: That's an inside joke between my partner and I]. Bold, loud, and sometimes annoying, he was also a no. You didn't think you could listen to him drone on and on and on about tea or noble responsibilities. Or about how much better than Edelgard he is.

A little ways away was Dorothea Arnault, once a diva of the Mittlefrank Opera Company in the Empires capital, Enbarr. She. Is. Beautiful. You spoke to her once or twice before the school year started and she always had this ability to make you feel safe and loved. Her gentle tone and soft smile were always such a pleasant sight to see. However, those weren't being used on you.

Dorothea was currently trying to convince a shy, purple haired noble, Bernadetta Varley, to be her partner. The shy girl was adamantly refusing, saying that no one in their right mind would want to work with her. Okay, Dorothea seems to have the situation under control, opting to bribe Bernie as she is called with cake and tea. Looks like it worked.

Caspar Bergliez was talking to a magenta haired student, Petra Macneary. Their conversation didn't seem to be a nice one, both opting for more politeness than the chaos on display from their classmates. Which is a total tonal shift for Caspar who is known to run all around the monastery and be very very loud at all times. It was odd to see him so quiet and calm.
