Alt title: Gordon Ramsay got NOTHING on us XD

It took me three days to finish the last chapter. I hope this one's not going to take as long as the last one but who knows? Maybe each chapter is going to be 5k words. I sure hope not cuz that'd be a combined 20k words and I'm not ready.

Anyway, here's our Blue Lions besties!

Still set in the same a/u!

[This chapter contains hilarity and fluff.]

Your class was assigned cooking duty for the big holiday party.

Every year, Garreg Mach University has a huge holiday party and each class gets a task to get ready for the party. Your class got stuck with cooking. You figured it wouldn't be a huge deal, seeing as you have a culinary major and two other amazing chefs in your ranks.

Then you remembered.

Dimitri.

Now there's nothing inherently wrong with the tall, blonde, blue eyed man himself. Not at all. In fact, he's the kindest, softest gentleman you've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

He just has this... Habit... Of breaking things.

He has this super-human strength that causes him to break things if he's not careful enough. One time in class he broke three pencils when he getting frustrated with the arithmetic professor Hanneman was teaching that day. Dedue, his best friend, has a spare case of pencils in his bag at all times for this reason. So having him around glass, knives, AND fire? No bueno.

Speaking of the even taller, white haired man...

Him, Ashe, and Mercedes were talking about what they should make for the party. You decided to jump in on that conversation.

"...So we've got a turkey, some apple pie, mashed potatoes- Oh hey, Y/N! We're just going over our list of ideas for food!" Ashe smiled at you so brightly you feel he could light up an entire room. Mercedes gently smiled at you too. Dedue nodded at you.

"Great! Can I hear what other ideas you all have so far?" You had a notebook and a pen with you as well to write any ideas down as well.

"Okay! We have a turkey, apple pie, mashed potatoes, garlic bread, chicken noodle soup, apple cider, apple cupcakes, salad, sweet potato casserole, meatloaf, and banana bread," Ashe listed off and sounded so out of breath by the time the list was over.

You had no idea how you had managed to get all of those down.

"Oh and don't forget the gingerbread cookies!" Mercedes piped up as you nodded and wrote the (hopefully) last item down.

"So, if I got everything down, we will be making: A whole turkey, apple pie, mashed potatoes, garlic bread, chicken noodle soup, apple cider, apple cupcakes, salad, sweet potato casserole, meatloaf, banana bread, and gingerbread cookies," you listed off to make sure you got everything correct as the other three nodded or gave you thumbs up to encourage you. You understood why Ashe was out of breath at the end of the list.

"Seems like we've got a long night ahead of us, huh?" Ashe laughed a little bit. You could tell he was a bit nervous at the daunting task your class was about to take on. You gently placed your hand on his shoulder and smiled softly. His body relaxed a little.

"I think if we delegate tasks wisely we could get all of this done by the end of the night," Dedue said and Mercedes agreed.

"Well... That's the issue," you lowered your voice so this part of this conversation only involved the four of you. "Annette is a disaster in the kitchen. She almost set the cafeteria on fire once by leaving the kettle running for tea. Felix doesn't take orders. At all. Sylvain actually might be kind of competent in the kitchen if we can actually get him to work. Ingrid will be a big help. I believe in her. Dimitri..." You could feel Dedues eyes on you, anticipating what you were about to say about his best friend. "I think it's a good idea to keep him away from anything dangerous. He's good with math, right? Maybe he could do some measuring of ingredients." Dedue nodded at your suggestion.
