Lady Rhea had asked you to tea.
You weren't sure the exact reason, only that she had something important to speak to you about. This message was relayed though Seteth, of course. He had expressed a sense of urgency that you recognized as "Hurry up and don't leave the Archbishop waiting." You had no intention of doing so.
You immediately packed up what you were doing and headed to the Archbishops throne room where you met up with the green haired lady.
"Ay, Y/N, it is wonderful to see you," her soft voice reached your ears and she gave you a gentle smile. You smiled back at her and met her kind eyes with yours. You gave her a polite bow and she allowed you to rise by tapping you on the shoulder.
"Come, young one. We have much to discuss," that phrase was kind of intimidating. You weren't sure what that meant yet but were both curious and worried.
She led you to the third floor where she brought you to the courtyard. The same courtyard where she was watching over you when you first came to the monastery. There was a table set up with some tea cups and deserts, courtesy of Seteths money and Cyrils care. It was gorgeous.
However, you were nervous.
As the two of you sat down at the table, you tried to mimic Rheas perfect posture. Your body was very tense and your anxiety was palpable between the two of you.
"Y/N, I'm assuming you have no idea why I've called you here. That is understandable. Your nervousness is a valid response. However, I would like to entrust something to your care," Rhea spoke, doing her best to soothe your nerves. It worked kind of.
"What is it?" You asked, matching the quiet volume of her voice.
"I have something, a heroes relic, that I would like you to keep," your eyes widened in response to this.
"A heroes relic? Why me? What kind of relic?" You started to slightly panic. You had no idea why she would ask this of you.
"It's a relic of great magical prowess. Seeing as you are one of the strongest magic users in the monastery, I would like you to have it," she responded very gently. Your worries were nowhere near close to being assuaged.
"My apologies Lady Rhea, but you're asking a great deal of me. I don't even have a crest! There's no way I'd be able to use a heroes relic!" You had only heard of people who were possessing crests being able to use a heroes relic. You did not have one.
Or so you thought.
"Y/N, my child, I must apologize to you in turn. You... Do indeed have a crest. One of great strength," your blood froze. She... How did she know? How COULD she know? There's absolutely no way that she could know that. Not at all!
"How... How do you know that...?" Your voice was shaking. You couldn't believe this. This can't be real.
"I... I have felt it for quite a while. You hold the blood of the children of the Goddess, Sothis. Just like the Professor. Yours may be faint, but I can sense it there," what is happening. This is the first you've heard of it.
