Me and Luke are in the car on the way to the hospital. My palms sweating, yet I have shivers down my spine. I can never get this feeling out of me , its the same feeling on everytime. Luke puts his hand on my thigh , I jump in surprise. He rubs his thumb in reassurance. I take a deep breath and keep my eyes looking out the window. Luke takes his hand off my thigh and puts it back on the wheel. Taking a frustrated breath.

" what's that's for" I look over at him seeing his frustration.

" its nothing , " I sit up in the seat and cross my legs.

" its not nothing , luke tell me" I say leaning toward to see his face better.

" its like I don't exsist to you anymore, every time I fucking touch you you don't react , when I look at you you don't have that spark anymore! I FEEL LIKE IM THE OnLY ONE FUCKING TRYING! Its like I'm not your boyfriend anymore, I can't remember the last time we went into public with each other ... The last time you hugged or touched me! " his fist are white on the steering wheel.

" your fucking kidding me right! I'm sorry like ! Is that what you want to hear ! I'm sorry that I can't be happy at this moment in time with my best friend FUCKIG DIEING right before my eyes ! And not being. Able to do anything lucas. I'm. Sorry. " I sit back and cross my arms anger raging through me. " fuck , you know what I don't have time for this just drop me off at the hospital and you can do what ever the fuck you want" I unbuckle at the red light as we are turning into the hospital. He stops and I grab my bag and slam the door behind me.

Not looking back I walk into the hospital , fewer faces but I follow the usual route to Shelbys room. The sound of heart monitors filling the room. I set my stuff beside her on the couch and go to tidy up. I refill her flower with water , I throw the boys' trash away. I finally sit down and turn the TV on. My back towards Shelby
A tear silently slides down my cheek.

" god Shelby I really wish you were here to talk some sense into me because I don't know what the fucks wrong with me " I whisper to myself switching the channel.

"....hey go... Back... that's an amazing show...." A raspy voice fills the room. I turn in shock and see shelnys eyes opened and struggling to smile. I drop the remote and run the her side. My hands on each side of her face, her cheeks now warm and alive. A smile is plastered on my face a mile wide.

" Shelby , I missed you so much please promise me you won't do this again" I say lighty holding her in a hug.

" yeah like I asked to be put into a come for almost 2 months. " I laugh she never will loose her wit. I tear slides down my face. I grab my phone from my pocket.

" I've got to call lu..... Ashton " I dial his number my voice shakey.

He hangs up and a smile is plastered on Shelbys face. The breathing tube still wrapped around her face. As I walk to sit back down the doctor walks in with the clipboard.

"Oh she's awake , that's amazing" he tales out his flash light and shines it across her eyes. " well I know this might not be the best news but we're gonna take you back for an xray just to clear you , you might be able to go home tomorrow if all signs are GPO, so I'll have nurse Brooke come and get you when were ready. " he walks out and minuted later the nurse comes and rolls Shelby out of the room.
