Poppy's same arising thoughts seemed to be perennial as she moved strands of tousled brown hair out of her face so she could see clearly. She let a soundless sigh of exhaustion leave her parted lips as she let her fingertips graze under her eyes. Stepping forward jadedly, she tilted her head to the side so she could slip the enduring strap of her weapon over her head and place it down.

Despite the kevlar bulletproof vest that she was still presently wearing on her upper body, she could now move her arms without the restriction of her gun in the way of her mobility.

Seeing someone approaching her from her peripheral vision, she turned her head and locked eyes with Kyle Garrick. The corners of her lips curled upwards upon seeing her long-time friend.

Lieutenant Riley and Sergeant Dargie had proficiently accomplished placing the explosives under multiple armour-plated vehicles belonging to the Shadow mercenaries. They had subdued a myriad of Shadows with stealthy teamwork and determination and the help of MacTavish who was guiding them from the CCTV cameras through the prison grounds.

Sergeant Major Parra had successfully found Alejandro's location in the cell block by the cameras. Commander Graves had placed Vargas in a solitary cell by himself with two Shadows guarding his door. Both Shadows that had been stationed there were permanently unmoving on the ground in a pool of their own tepid blood.

The quartet freed the colonel from his padlocked cell and helped get the Los Vaqueros out too. They had armed themselves with the assault rifles and pistols Simon and Poppy had packed up in the duffel bags. Armed and focused on getting out of the prison, they had made their way out into the courtyard where they were eliminating Shadow soldiers and exploding their vehicles.

A helicopter occupied with an adept Shadow pilot and armed mercenaries had flown over their heads and commenced firing heavily at them. The hovering bird that was destroying the ground and embedding scorching bullets into the concrete didn't stay long in the cloudy sky.

A rocket launcher had been fired from the prison wall and the military helicopter spiraled into an uncontrolled twirl before bursting into orange flames and toxic smoke. When inevitably coming into contact with the sweltering ground, it resulted in shredded metal flying in all directions like ruthless shrapnel.

The sergeant had to veer her head around and cover her countenance with her clothed arm to avoid being brushed with a wave of undulated heat and sharp metal.

Turns out it was Captain Price who had fired the rocket launcher and eliminated the helicopter that had attempted to retaliate and eradicate them. It wasn't only Price who had made a surprise arrival and helped the soldiers, Gaz was by the captain's side also.
