season 4, episode 12; criss angel is a douchebag
Criss Angel was never one of my favorites in season 4. Therefore, I hadn't processed much since we've been on this case of the mysterious deaths of magicians. Dean had left to see the so-called Chief but was getting played by the men who told us about him while Sam and I were in the motel room getting some research done. To be fair, he was doing research, I was on the bed watching T.V 'cause I hadn't been feeling well since we got here. Not in a "something bad is gonna happen" way but in a "my head is about to fall off and there's snot coming out of my nose every two minutes" way.
Sam immediately told me to sit this one out and focus on getting better. I wasn't dying, but he was taking this too seriously. While Sam was working at the small table, there was a knock on the door. He glanced back at me, silently asking if I had been expecting anyone. I shook my head and looked back at the T.V. He got up and suspiciously walked over to the door. He looked in the peephole and looked back at me. He sighed in annoyance and I took it that it was Ruby.
I gave a similar reaction and muted the T.V. Sam opened the door, completely agitated as I sat up on the bed. "What are you doing here, Ruby?" He asked her.
"I should be asking you the same thing," she replied. She walked in and saw me.
I smiled mockingly, "He's not alone, Princess."
Ruby gave me a hard glare. "We're working a job," Sam told her.
"The whole world's about to be engulfed in hellfire, and you're in Magictown, U.S.A."
Sam chuckled and put his hands in his pockets. Ruby turned around to face him and I shuddered at Sam's actions. "You got something against magic?"
"That would almost be funny if thirty-four seals hadn't been broken already. Thirty-four, Sam." Sam and I exchanged a look over Ruby's shoulder and I rolled my eyes and fell back on the bed. "That's over halfway. The angels are losing this war. Every day is one-day closer, and if someone doesn't do something soon—"
"The world is gonna go kaboom," I gasped dramatically. Ruby turned to look at me and glared again. Seems like that is the only facial expression she has when I'm in the room. "Why does it have to be Sam to stop the seals?" I tested.
"Who else would it be?" She demanded.
I sat up, ready to expose her on the spot. "Neither of us know where these seals are; we don't know when or any other of the five W's of the seals. So, if you're really truly going to help, why don't you give us someplace to start?" I told her. My voice raised the more I spoke.
"Well, you can quit trying to get Sam between those legs of yours, for one," she spat back.
I laughed dramatically, "Ditto."
"Bigger fish, Princess." She looked back at Sam and continued to look between us. "And if the seals are being broken, you might wanna go after the one doing the breaking."
"Lilith?" Sam questioned.
"Cut the head off the snake," she said. "You're the only one who can stop her, Sam." She started to walk towards the door. "So step up and kill the little bitch."
"Oh, I'm game, believe me. It's not the psychic thing I got a problem with," Sam told her, spinning around so he was facing her.
