Chapter 27: The Jump

Lacey's POV:

"Hey Lace, we need to talk." He said as I nodded. I followed him to his room, on the verge of tears once again.

"Hayes, let's be real here. What is there to talk about? You cheated on me. Maybe I should have known better, with you going to meet and greets every week, to think I was stupid enough to trust you." It began to seem like I was starting to talk to myself instead of Hayes. He looked at me, his blue eyes almost gray.

"Lace, I'm sorry, and I don't know what got into my head. I just really want your forgiveness. I need your forgiveness." He said, about to grab my hand, but instead, keeping his distance.

"Hayes how can you expect me to forgive you after what you did?" I said as he sighed.

"I don't expect you to do anything. I just hope you will." He said as the room got quite.

"I'll think about it." I said, getting up and leaving, not a word coming out of his mouth.

"Hey." Nash greeting, noticing I just came out of Hayes' room.

"Hey." I said, looking down.

"You okay?" He said as I shook my head. He pulled me into a hug as I started crying.

"He's stupid for doing that, and I should be beating him up like a real-fake-big-brother-best-friend person would do." Nash said as I laughed.

"So how does a real-fake-big-brother-best-friend work?" I raised an eyebrow at him as he smiled.

"With me it just does okay." He argued as I laughed.

"Now go and enjoy the party, you can't let him ruin this day for you." He said as I nodded, wiping my tears. Nash always knew how to make me laugh.

"LACE!" Everyone shouted as I joined them in the living room, where they were playing truth or dare. They were literally the most immature people I had ever met, but I guess that's why you gotta love them.

"Okay, truth or dare Lace." Nash said as I thought it over.

"Dare." I said as he smirked.

"I dare you to let me do your makeup." He said as I raised an eyebrow.

"You're joking." I said as he shook his head.

"I'm gonna look like the joker." I complained as he laughed. He had just filmed a video with Skylynn where she did his makeup so they already had a bunch of products. I sat on the ground as everyone surrounded me, laughing.

"Ha ha very funny." I said as Nash sat in front of me.

"Okay, now open your eyes." Nash said as I opened them to see a mirror in front of my face. I looked terrible. Like really bad. This was worse than me doing it blindfolded.

"OH MY GOD NASH WHAT DID YOU DO." I said feeling my face as they all were laughing.

"Smile." Gabbi said, taking a picture of me.

"I hate you." I said in an annoyed voice, glaring at her.

"Okay my turn." I said, looking around the room to see who would be my victim.

"Hmm. Gabby. Sweet, sweet Gabby. Truth or dare?" I said, raising an eyebrow, knowing she'd pick dare.

"Dare." She said as I smirked.

"I dare you to jump off the roof and into the pool." I said as worry took over on her face.

"You know I can't get hurt. We have dance next week." She said as I rolled my eyes.

"Come on. Nothings gonna happen. I'll do it." I said as she raised an eyebrow.

"Your parent's are going to kill you if you do. I'm not doing it." She said, crossing her arms. 

"I don't care. I'm gonna do it. Let's go." I said, standing up. I climbed up onto the roof as everyone stood on the ground.

"Lacey don't do this." Nash yelled as I smiled.

"Don't worry. Nothing's going to happen." I said, the water would catch my fall.

"LACEY IT'S A TWO STORY BUILDING!" Nash continued as I rolled my eyes.

"I've jumped off of a roof before." I pleaded, about to jump. 

"3... 2.. 1" I said before jumping. I jumped off the roof and into the pool, feet first. I didn't know what had happened until I felt a pang of pain in my leg before blacking out.
