Chapter 17: Waterpark Matchmaking

Lacey's POV:

I woke up... for the second time I guess. I checked my texts.

50 Gabbi

14 Addison

2 Hayes

1 Nash

2 Mom

I started with Gabbi's since she had the most. I knew what it was going to be, she liked to randomly spam me. I was right, it was all spam. But it did surprisingly have one really funny picture of Nash. 

Addison's texts were usually all about Disney movies or One Direction songs. And indeed these were.

Hayes? Well, I don't really have a general idea of what Hayes sends me they usually vary from Good Morning to I'm coming over to steal your tacos. It was a hey cutie and a good morning. 

Nash texted me a picture of a pooping elephant. Thanks. 

And all my mom wanted was to tell me that she was going to Publix for food.

Today, Gabbi, Addison, and I were going to a waterpark and since Matt, Cam, and Jack and Jack were coming from LA to chill. Our dance friends from dance camp were coming with us too.

"Okay so Nash, Hayes, Matt, Cam, Jack, Jack, Me, Gabbi, Lacey, Lauren, Marisol, and Charlotte. That's 12 people." Super planner, Addison said. 

Let's get our waterpark on!" Gabbi said pulling us to my room.

"What bathing suit are you wearing Lace?" Gabbi said looking at her ten bathing suits that she brought with her.

"Umm I don't know yet oops" I said pulling the box of bathing suits I had out.

"Wear this one" Addison said pulling out a zebra printed top.

"Ew no why do you even have this Lacey" Gabbi said throwing.

"I think that's Lauren's actually" I said laughing.

"This one?" Gabbi said pulling out a white hollister bikini top.

"Eh, no thanks I wear that one all the time" I said pulling out a black and pick floral strapless top.

"This one?" I said as they nodded.

"What about you Addison, what are you wearing?" I said.

"It's a surprise" Addison grinned as the doorbell rang.

(All three of their bathing suits are on the side)

"It's probably the girls" I said as we were going downstairs.

"Why are they here so early?" Addison asked.

"Sunblock help duhh" Gabbi said smiling.

"Umm that's the boys' job" I said opening the door.

"They're carpooling dummys" I said

"Hey" and "Hi" chorused as everyone stepped in already dressed and ready.

"Let's go to my room" I said as we all ran up the stairs.

"I'm going to change in my bathroom, someone can change in the other bathroom and someone can change in my closet." I said talking to Gabbi and Addison as the rest of the girls were on their phones talking.

"How do I look?" I said making a 360 turn as compliments filled the room, Gabbi and Addison were already done changing.

"I'll call Nash" Addison said picking up her phone.

"They're already on the way there" She said as she pushed everyone out of the door.

At the waterpark

"Okay, the boys are at the entrance where you give them your tickets" Addison said as we walked over.

Hayes' POV:

"Okay the girls are on their way." I said 

"So, how many single girls are going to be there" Jack G smirked.

"Well, let's see, Addison is with Nash, Lacey is with me, Grace is with Carter, Lauren is with Cam, and that's it, so Marisol, Charlotte, and Gabbi are single" I said as they all blanked out on me

"Hey it's them!" Cam said pointing to a group of girls in bikinis, all with the same bags, but with different color.

"Hi" Lacey said coming up to me. She looked good in that bikini.

"Hey" I said as we hugged. I looked around as all the reunited couples were hugging.

"Let me tell you a secret" She said in a hushed voice.

"Tell me" I said as she tiptoed to whispher in my ear.

"We should set up Charlotte with Matt, Marisol with Jack G, and-"

"Gabbi with Jack J?" I interrupted Lacey.

"Exactly" She smiled as she kissed me on the cheek and went to talk to her friends.

"Let's all head to a place closest to food and nice chairs." Gabbi said grabbing a handful of maps.

"Well, we rented out some cabannas in... the Carribean Cove? I think" Jack J said looking at the map.

"Oh, here it is"

"Yay! It's by the food hut thingy" 

"Perfect!" 

"Okay let's go" Someone in the large crowd said as we went on our way to the Carribean Cove.

"We got three because each cabana only fits four people, but we got them connected" Nash said as we finally reached the large hut looking things.

"I'll split people up!" Lacey said assigning people to different cabanas.

"Okay, Marisol, Gabbi, Jack, and Jack, in this cabana. Me, Hayes, Matt, and Charlotte in the middle one, and Cam, Nash, Addison, and Lauren in the other one, k cool" She said as everyone put their stuff down. The connected doorways were pretty wide so we could all see and hear each other which made life a lot easier for everyone.

"Hayes, can you put this sunscreen on my back for me" Lacey said winking.

"I finally caught her drift, apparently her and the "taken" girls talked about their matchmaking thing. I honestly didn't mind rubbing sunblock on her back anyways.

"Well, it didn't work out the way we wanted it to, but it worked." She said looking around. Jack G had been rubbing Gabbi's back instead and Jack J was applying sunblock to Mari's back instead, but that's okay.

First, we headed to the "Havana Falls" which were waterfalls you could ride down on using tubes.

"Come on Hayes hurry up here let's ride together!" Lacey said pulling me up the stairs.
