Chapter 10: Puppy Business

It was around 11:30 and Skylynn, and I walked to my house for the "Surprise," and lunch. We called Addison and Gabbi to stop by too. Nash and Hayes were filming a youtube video so I decided to take Skylynn so she could play with Lucy.

I had a key to open the door. We walked into the house to be greeted by Lucy.

"LACEY!" She said running down the stairs and into my arms.

"Hey Lucy, we brought Skylynn" I said putting her down.

Addison and Gabbi came running out of the car as Gabbi's mom waved at us. 

"Hey guys!" They said in unison.

"Hi Skylynn. You wanna see my unicorns?" She said as Skylynn nodded.

"But first" She said dragging me to the living room, I assumed that's where the "Surprise," was. 

"Okay, okay, I'm coming, Slow down Lucy" I laughed as Lucy continued into the living room.

I started to tear up at the sight of two puppies. One the size of a teacup and the other the size of a normal puppy. 

My mother held the teacup sized one as I sat on the couch with her to hold it. Addison and Gabbi sat next to me admiring the puppy. Skylynn, and Lucy looked at the Labrador puppy.

"The teacup puppy is yours, you like it Lace?" My mom said as I nodded and passed on the puppy to Addison. 

"Lucy, that puppy is yours okay? Be careful around her, she's a baby." My mom cautioned as Lucy nodded admiring the dog.

Gabbi handed me the puppy as I held it in my hand.

"What should I name it?" I asked not knowing anything about naming things.

"I don't know, what are some things that the name should have?" Addison said.

"Hmm.. since "L" names are everywhere in my family, I think it should start with an L" I said as we all started to think.

"Litlle Lia, because she's so tiny" Gabbi said pointing her index finger in the air.

"Perfect! Leah" I smiled 

"What are you naming your puppy Lucy?" Gabbi asked 

"I'm going to name him Lucky. So now we are Lucky and Lucy" She grinned as we all laughed.

"I'm taking Lia to my room" I said as everyone walked upstairs.

"Just come down for lunch in 30 minutes!" 

"And after we're going to the Pet store because we have nothing for these dogs!" My mom yelled as I laughed

"KAY Gabbi and Addison are staying for lunch!" I yelled, already upstairs.

We went into my room and I set Lia carefully on the bed after everyone got situated. 

"So, what are we going to do now?" I said not knowing what to do.

"I don't know, I guess we should do something for half an hour and then go eat lunch, and then we can pick out puppy stuff for Lia and Lucky," Addison said being the reasonable one of the group. 

"Okay, but what are we going to do in the extra thirty minutes we have?" I said putting Lia down on the floor.

"I don't know, but where are we supposed to put Lia?" Addison asked as we all stared at the tiny Yorki.

"I don't know, I think I'll just leave her in here, she can't really go under anything, and we can just close the doors" I said.

"Kay cool" Gabbi said.

"Hmm.. You wanna go practice our trio? That was fun" Gabbi said as we agreed and went into my practice room. 

My room, and the practice room are connected by bathroom. It was going to be Lucy's room, but instead, it became  a practice room to dance in. It was like an in-home studio. One of the walls was basically a mirror, and the wall next to it had bars. I guess you could say the room was big, it was the same size as my room. I usually go in there to practice for competitions, I'm pretty sure I spend more time there than in my actual room.

We did warm ups for a few minutes and then we danced until my mom called for lunch.

My mom owned a resturant. She was the best at making food, especially for children. Everyday she packed our lunches and they're always the cutest and really healthy too.

For the little girls, she made tiny cat shaped pizzas with a side of some fruit.

For us, she made burgers that looked like birds. They were also very cute. We also had a side of fruit. 

After we ate lunch, we headed off to Petsmart with Lia and Lucky. 

It was the big Petsmart about 15 minutes away from my house. I held Lia the whole time while Addison and Gabbi took turns holding Lucky for Lucy and Skylynn. 

We walked around and asked the workers about food, cages, etc.

We chose to not get any cages, Having them walk around is better. I decided to get a small fence instead of the cage. Since Lauren was going to college in California with her friends, I would soon be moving into her room and Lucy would be moving into mine. Lauren was leaving tomorrow, and I was moving into her room. My mom said we would be leaving all of the dog stuff downstairs until all of the rooms were done. 

I had looked on tumblr for rooms and had decided on one. It was perfect, I helped Lucy pick a room too (Pictures on side). We picked out some really pretty things for Lucky and Lia. They got to pick out their own treats and stuff and workers told us about how fragile tea cup dogs were. I had to be really careful, and I had to make sure she didn't go under any furniture. We then left the store and went back home. 

We helped Lauren pack and move her boxes for the next couple of hours. We invited Nash, Cam, and Hayes to help. Carter and Matt were somewhere doing something else. After doing that, my dad made steak and we ate dinner. 

Later on in the evening the boys took Skylynn home and Addison and Gabbi were sleeping over. We had the rest of the summer off, well until the one week camp of course, but other than that, we had free calendars until August. 

We were painting my new room the day after, which I couldn't wait for. The boys were going to California at the end of the week for a meet & greet thing. We were going to miss them a lot. That's mainly what we talked about at our small sleepover. We played truth or dare, and decided to get into making youtube videos. 

We had been thinking about starting youtube for awhile now, but never really had the time because of dance. Maybe, we could actually get somewhere in our lives this summer.

Throughout the whole night talking about the boys, our careers, youtube, dance, I couldn't stop thinking about what Skylynn had said that morning, Did Hayes come see me in the hospital? Why did he come see me? How did he even know me? Was he the one that saved me?

TBH this was a filler chapter. It's Labor Day weekend and I'm bored out of my mind, 2K READS THO THANKS BABES. I really hope you like this story and sorry this chapter's so short.
