Chapter 17: Waterpark Matchmaking Part 2

Lacey's POV:
For the next hour or so, we walked around the park riding rides, but we mainly spent it in the lazy river.
"OKAY EVERYONE LISTEN UP!" I said standing up from my seat.
"We are splitting up into groups of two" I then said, of course I already knew who was going to pair up with who, matchmaking 101 duh.
"Okay, seperate and meet back here at 3" Nash yelled before leaving with Addison.

"Let's go on a slide." I said running over to "The Orbit."
"Why this one?" Hayes said.
"Because.. it's swirly." I smiled as we ran up the millions of stairs.
We slid down together and then headed to the wave pool.
"Hey Lacey" He said walked towards the direction of the wave pool.
"What?" I replied.
"Race ya!" He said as he started running, me not far behind him.
"That's not fair!" You got a head start!" I said splashing him with water.
"You would've lost anyways" He said picking me up.
"AHH HAYES NO" I said as he threw me into the water.
"That was mean." I said sticking out my lower lip.
"You still look cute when you're pouty" He said kissing me.
"Awe, and you still look cute when you're cocky" I said swimming away from him.
"Wait up! Where are you going???" He said following after me.
"I'm swimming away from you." I said laughing.
"Come back" He said.
"Oh, who's the one pouting now?" I said imitating him.

3:00
Okay, now we wait for Jack G. and Gabbi.
"Oh! I see them," Cam said as they ran over.
"Okay, let us go get some food." Nash said in a deep voice.
We got our food and found a table. We began to talk and eat.
"What'd you get?" Hayes said sitting down next to me.
"I got a bowl of mac n cheese, what'd you get?" I asked eating my food.
"I got chicken, yum." He said eating.
"What are we doing after we eat?" Gabbi asked, eating her pizza.
"We are going to do the obstacle court to compete," Cam said
"I am going to beat your butt," I said to Hayes.
"Really, like you did when we were racing to wave pool?" He said changing my facial expression.
"Well, you cheated so..." I said.
"But I stepped on a rock, so it evens it out," He said smiling.
"Whatever." I said continuing to eat my food.
We finished up our food and left to the obstacle course place.
"Okay, who wants to compete, who wants to do it for fun, and who wants to time?" Cam asked, with all of us listening. Since everyone wanted wanted to compete, well except for Marisol, who was timing, we got in line and began.
"Okay times are:
Cam: 1:00
Lauren: 1:10
Jack J: 1:07
Jack G: 1:06
Nash: 1:03
Gabbi: 1: 09
Matt: 1:05
Addison: 1:10
Charlotte: 1:09
Hayes: 1:04
Lacey: 1:03
It was really close, but... CAMERON DALLAS IS THE WINNER" She said rather loudly.
"YES! SUCK IT NASH" He said as Nash punched him in the arm.
"Can you tell me mine and Hayes' time again Mari?" I asked,
"Oh, sure, Hayes got 1:04 and you got 1:03" She smiled and walked away.
"Haaaayes" I called running over to him.
"Yes?" He said.
"I WON YOU LOST I WON YOU LOST" I said jumping.
"No, Cam won." He said confused.
"No, I got 1:03 and you got 1:04 loser" I said doing the L sign on my forehead.
"It was on second. She probably timed it wrong." Hayes smirked.
"Whatever loser." I said walking away to talk to Gabbi.
"So, how's it going with Jack?" I asked.
"Well," She said smiling.
"How well?" I said.
"Umm.. he asked me out well." She said as I was on the verge of screaming.
"WHEN AND WHERE?!?!?" I said screaming, luckily no one around us heard.
"Well, we are going to dinner on friday." She said widening her eyes.
"That. Is. Amazing." I said as we started jumping up and down.
"I KNOW RIGHT?!!" She said, then we walked back over to everyone else.
"What should we do next week?" Charlotte said as we all started cheering.
"Hm. I'm thinking we get a hotel by the beach and we stay there for the weekend." Nash said as we all agreed.
