Morning.

“Ayu Kandita, it is morning.”

A maid just enter Kandita's room about to wake her up, stopped short by a strong fishy odor, causing her to plug her nose.

“Ayu Kandita? …?!”

The maid saw Kandita wrapped uncomfortably around herself, approaching her bed, shocked to realize her worse condition.

After reporting Kandita's condition, the King and Mutiara quickly went to Kandita's room.

“Aah …! What happened to you, my daughter Kandita?”

“Gusti Prabu, please do not touch her.”

The King wanted to approach Kandita to give her a warm hand, but a servant warned him not to touch her.

Mutiara covered her nose in disgust at the fishy odor, witnessing Kandita's weakened state as she continued to be in pain all night without rest.

Mutiara was shocked to hear of Kandita's deteriorating condition, wondering if it was due to the medicine she had been given yesterday.

“Summon the healers immediately!”

“““Understood!”””

The King ordered the servants to summon the healers, hoping that they will know what illness Kandita has been suffering from and how to cure it.

“Please … not my daughter.”

While muttering, The King brushed away his tears, and ironically pinched his nose due to the pungent fishy odor.

“The healers have arrived!”

Upon entering Kandita's room, the healers immediately covered their noses due to the pungent fishy odor, requiring them to tie a cloth to mask their faces.

“We request the others to leave this room. There is a possibility that Raden Ayu is suffering from an infectious disease.”

The servants and Mutiara left Kandita's room, leaving only The King which is also warned by the healers.

“Gusti Prabu, you shall get out too.”

Reluctantly, The King find it hard to make a step.

“Gusti Prabu, we understand that Kanjeng Ayu is your beloved daughter, but please do not forget that you are the leader of this kingdom, your healthy and fit presence is needed by the people.”

After being given these words by the firsts, the King unwillingly stepped out of Kandita's room.

“… Worry—”

Hearing Kandita's faint voice, the King pause his steps and turn to look at her.

“… No need to worry me … G-Gusti Prabu ….”

Kandita giving a frail smile, which cannot relieve The King after listening her.

The king turning away frowning, exiting Kandita's room.

“Kanjeng Ayu, are you able to provide some explanation about your condition?” A healer asked.

Kandita stirring, trying to lift herself to sit, with a slight squeal of pain she still force herself to appear able to move.

“I-I am fine, I can.”

Kandita has gotten used to the pain she was in, even though she is not as strong as she was before.

The healers were worried about Kandita forcing herself in her worse condition, but it at least helped their task to find out what illness she was suffering from.
