Early morning.

Regardless of the dark sky, Mutiara ordered something to a servant, the servant quickly left after receiving the order.

While the traders in the market were just cleaning up their stalls, the servant was already going around looking for an address.

“Young men.”

In his hoarse voice, a mysterious man wearing an ivory robe called out to the servant.

“What ails thee, roaming the market ere its time of opening?”

“My master told me to find a healer shaman.”

“Master? Pray tell, art they of noble standing?”

“Yes, she is the King's Consort.”

The mysterious man turned his head briefly to where the royal palace was located, then continued his question.

“I am the shaman ye art looking for.”

Hearing the man's confession, the servant looked at him suspiciously.

“… You do not look like you are from the nobility. Shamans are usually from the nobility. I do better continue looking for the way where the duke's favoured shaman's house is.”

The man stretched his hand out of his robe, showing his arm that could change from yellow to cyan skin color, the servant who witnessed it was shocked and amazed.

“I am a real shaman.”

After his amazement, the servant continued.

“But my master does not want to make Gusti Prabu worry, so I cannot take you to the palace.”

“Fret not, come to mine abode.”

“We have arrived.”

The river not far from the capital.

On the banks of the river is a small hut, said to be the place of the shaman.

“Why this far away” The servant asks.

“I am a shaman from a distant land, journeying to broaden my wisdom. This humble hut by the river's edge I have erected, for I am not yet prepared to mingle into thy society, moreover the river yields sustenance aplenty, such as fish to consume or water to ablution.”

An insightful answer, it left the servant again in awe of the shaman.

“So, what task doth thy master require of a shaman?”

“Raden Ayu, Gusti Prabu's daughter is said to have a disease. Gusti Prabu himself does not know about this, for now only Gusti Kanjeng Ratu and I know about it.”

As the conversation progressed, the shaman handed the servant a small chair and invited him to sit down.

“Mhm. The traits of this malady?”

“Her skin is white and thick, and she does not feel anything when the area is touched.”

“Which area?”

“Around here.” The servant pointing down the side of his own neck.

“Hath the lady encountered anyone?”

“I don't know, but it is very rare from my observations.”

“Recently, with whom hath the lady interacted most?”

“Gusti Prabu, Gusti Kanjeng Ratu, Gusti Raden Mas, and the palace servants.”

“Hath any among them contracted the same malady?”
