BROTHERS' TALK.....

“ Jiang Cheng!” ,

Jiang Cheng turns as he heard a non cheerful call from a cheerful person. Wei wuxian walked towards the training ground with a rare calm face ,

“ Zhu , carry on the training from here . ”, Jiang Cheng said to one of his subordinate before walking towards Wei wuxian.

“ Can we talk somewhere quiet? ”, wei wuxian said , he still had the CALM which was telling Jiang Cheng that something is definitely wrong . He just nods and take him to his room . Once arrived, Wei wuxian closed the door of the room,

“ Hmm what you want? ”, Jiang Cheng asked in confusion.

“ Answers of my questions! ”, wei wuxian said in a serious tone.

“ What type of questions? And you are alone here? Like your puppy is not following you today? ”, Jiang Cheng scoffs as he didn't see wangji besides his brother for the first time.

“ Lan zhan is taking care of xichen-ge. ”,

“ What happened to him ? ” , Jiang Cheng suddenly panicked but compose himself when he saw wei wuxian raising his brow towards him ,

“ I should be the one to ask what happened to him that after tomorrow's meeting he came all drenched in rain . Grandmaster lan  was so furious at him because he travelled all way to gusu in rain . He caught cold and mild fever too . Grandmaster wants answer and he refuses to say even a word! Which only lefts us to you , so tell me what happened yesterday!”, wei wuxian asked with a worried face . But Jiang Cheng face was suddenly paled ,

“ Is he okay? ”,

“ He is better but not in great condition. Now tell me what happened? ” 

Jiang Cheng lies ,

“ Ho...How will I know? ”,

“ Then who knows brother ? ” , wangji asked to xichen. They were inside hanshi and wangji was giving him medicinal tea for his cold ,

“ Wangji , I don't want to talk about this right now please. ”, xichen said as he sips his tea trying to calm his headache which was also a result of cold.

“ You are trying to protect Jiang Wanyin, don't you ? ”, wangji said solemnly.

“ Why do you think it's because of wanyin ? ”, xichen was quite amused with younger's question.

“ Because of your behaviour Jiang Cheng!”, wei wuxian said .

“ How my behaviour and xichen's health are related? ”, Jiang Cheng asked in confusion.

“ Because as far as I know xichen-ge, he is not a lunatic to ran in rain. Unless you have said anything to him !”, Wei wuxian was dead serious and Jiang Cheng was somewhat feeling guilty now ,

“ Why do you think it's me ? It can be anyone from the conference meeting! ”, Jiang Cheng tries to get away .

“ Because no one else has this much influence on him . Only you !”, wei wuxian's words pierced to Jiang Cheng's heart ,

“ Wh..why do you think so ? ”, Jiang Cheng questioned .

“ Because he likes you and as far as I have known you too like him . ”, Jiang Cheng was taken aback with the sudden statement ,

“ The..there is nothing like that !”, Jiang Cheng turns away.

“ There is wangji....there is..”, xichen said picking his cup .

“ Brother....Why him ? ”, wangji pressed his lips in a thin line .

“ Wangji...Why not him ? ”, xichen smiles remembering Jiang Cheng's face.
