Chapter 7: If That's What It Takes

Kay's POV:

LOVE had called me out of my sleep telling me to meet him at Brooklyn Hospital Center.

I was confused at first because why the fuck would I meet him all the way in Brooklyn? that shit is like a hour away.

But that's when he told me that Justine got stabbed and she not waking up.

My heart fucking shattered hearing him say that shit because why would someone want to hurt Justine? she a sweetheart and don't fuck with nobody.

the police say they don't know who did it yet so they waiting on Justine to wake up if she do.

The doctor said she got stabbed twice. One close to her kidney and one on top of her belly button. The doctor also said that it was close to her organs so there is a possible way that she may die or not.

Right now I'm with Dougz, Love, Setty, Blu, ha two friends, and her parents who wont stop crying. I completely understand because their daughter is in the hospital and she not waking up.

Also Kiara here for some reason, I didn't know they knew each other.

But right now Blu and her going back and fourth in the hospital because she confused on how he know Justine.

Nas and Mali don't know about it yet cause they not answering their phones, so we just left them alone.

But nun of that shit matter right now, I gotta focus on Justine making it which she is.

"Is this Justine's family?" the doctor asks us as our attention was now on her.

"Yes I'm her mom and this is her father" her mom says.

"Okay so she is doing alright, we were able to stop the blood and help her with her breathing." the doctor reassured us.

Thank God.

"Okay but is she awake though?" Dougie asked.

"yes she is awake so if you want to see her you can, but it's only two at a time so the parents go first" the doctor says.

her parents make their way to her room and stay in there for a couple of minutes and then came out. Next it was Dougie and Love, then Blu and Setty, then her two friends, and finally me.

I wanted to go last because I wanted to have enough time to talk to her about everything.

"Yo" I say as I walked through the door closing it silently.

She just looked at me and turned back to the Tv.

"Yo I know you hear me" I tell her now walking up to the bed.

"Go away Kay" she says still not looking at me.

"Justine I'm sorry okay? it was a accident. Genesis got me high and then unbuckled my pants" I tell her truthfully, but she still didn't even wanna look at me.

"Why didn't you stop her?" She asks me while trying to stop her tears from falling.

"I couldn't Justine, I was so high I couldn't even move. All I felt was her teeth in the way" I told her and she then laughed through ha tears.

I know Justine could do better then her too.

But that's just what I think.

"So I fought her for no reason just for her to stab me?" she tells me silently.

"what you said?" I asked her because she mumbled the last part.

"nothing Kay"

"Nah what the fuck you said?"
