3 weeks later....

Justine POV

It was 11 in the morning and I was putting clothes on my son for his grandfather's funeral.

As much as he never met him really, I just thought it was a little respectful for me to bring him regardless.

I was putting shoes on a tired Kaiyeer as he yawned. I already showered him last night, brushed the little teeth he had, washed his face, and gave him some food to eat as I was now clothing him.

Even though I was already dressed and everything, I just kept thinkin about what's been happening ever since my father's death. His killer still hasn't been caught, My moms stressing like crazy and won't stop calling me, and a bitch just tired and sick in general.

"mommy where are we going?" Kaiyeer asked staring directly at me. I didn't really wanna say exactly to see his dead ass grandpops, but at the same time he's way too young to even understand.

"Don't worry about it okay?" he nodded, "All I know is, when we leave we're gonna go out for ice cream and then I'm taking you over to Auntie Maliyah and Uncle Dougie's house okay?" Kai's eyes lit up as soon as I mentioned Maliyah.

Now the reason why I'm dropping Kaiyeer off at Maliyah and em house, is mostly because right after my dad's funeral and I take Kaiyeer out for ice cream, I have to rehearse for this big and up coming show in LA.

When my manager first told me about the show that I was gonna be attending would be in LA, I was shocked. I never left New York, so to get the news that I will be leaving to go to a show there makes me excited. I might even bring Kaiyeer with me.

People like Naomi want me to bring Kaiyeer in the modeling business, but Ion think so. He already too young to even understand about his grandpa and where we even heading to at that.

I ain't trynna over work my one year old na.

As I was finished giving Kaiyeer some twists, I then got the things I needed and headed out the house. I put Kaiyeer in his car seat, buckling him in, and then finally shut the door and made my way to the driver seat where I could drive to the service.

Mainly to be honest, I wouldn't have thought about my one year old being here to witness the murder of his grandfather in a casket.

It is what it is I guess.

It even makes me confused and realize how fake some people are. My moms for an example.

She didn't even acknowledge me at all until this nigga ended up dying randomly for trynna cheat on ha with some random 16 year old bitch.

As soon as ha husband died, now all of a sudden she wanna call, text, leave voice messages when I ignore ha ass, and then try to meet up for lunch?

I'm good.

She was the main problem of everything. They should've took ha old ass instead.

My dad's death was taking a toll over me for a couple of days though as I began feeling sick.

All these overthinking shit about him and working as a model all at once is a lot of work to handle, especially when I got a whole son to take care too since I'm not with his father.

I pulled up to the service seeing cars in the front along with my mom hugging the guests one by one.

I got out my car and went to the back, where I unbuckled Kai, fixed his clothes, and finally locked the door. I made our way to the front with Kaiyeer still in my hands until my mom spotted us, "Justine my baby! you made it!" said my mom hugging me.
