Justine's POV:

"Everyone please be seated" The police officer said as everyone sat down cause the judge didn't arrive yet.

It was September 19 at the exact time of 11 o'clock to hear the sentencing that was going to be givin to Kay for the murder charge and for the attempt murder on Genesis.

I was still 4 months pregnant with our child that will be due next year at anytime and any day.

It was me, Kay's mom Jackie, Love, Blu, and Maliyah. Nas and Kiara wasn't here and Setty and Mali was on probation that they couldn't break.

Kay had just walked out from two doors into the court room where we could see handcuffs on his hands and ankles with a covid mask on. Why did they have to do him like that?

"Everyone rise" said the same police officer as the judge walks in. "You may be seated" and everyone did just that and sat down.

Kay had gotten a good lawyer also since he's been in jail. Kay decided to get El Chapo's fucking lawyer. Although El Chapo was found guilty on all charges, he still wanted him.

He can't be that fucking stupid.

(A/N: I don't know how it works in a court room so bare with me)

"Kevin Perez please stand" The judge says as Kay stands along with his lawyer right beside him. I wonder if he was nervous or not since he'll be having to hear how long he'll be in prison.

"Kevin Perez you are under arrested for the murder of Oscar Hernandez and for the attempted murder of Genesis Bernard-Jones" the judge says while skipping through paper. "We'll start with the murder of Mr. Hernandez first and then we'll go to Genesis right after"

"Mr. Perez you were caught on camera shooting at Mr. Hernandez to what seems to be close range. The doctor gave us details by telling us that there were bullet holes in Oscar's chest and organs which led to his death on September 1, 2022 at exactly 4:09 P.M in Harlem"

The judge was giving details of everything. I don't think Kay will be going home anytime soon since they have so much proof.

"Then what was given to us by police officers was that the exact day after the shooting, you went to a baby shower to support your pregnant girlfriend Justine correct"

I was kinda shocked hearing my name be mention in court.

How the fuck did they get my name? but then I think to myself and guess it was probably Genesis snitch ass.

"yes your honor" Kay says into the mic that was provided. "are you saying 'yes' because you killed Oscar or are you saying yes because you where at your girlfriend's baby shower?"

"I'm saying yes because I went to her baby shower your honor"

Okay, Okay he's doing good so far

"Mr. Perez is there any reason why you would want to kill Mr. Hernandez?"

I hope he answers this question correctly. I wanna know why he would wanna do it too.

"your honor it was based on self-defense, I saw Oscar pull out a gun and then tried pointing it at me so that's when I pulled out the weapon killing him"

Kay was talking so............. Proper? like never have I ever heard Kay talk like this before. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with it and I can't judge him due to me not actually being there when it happened but would I could say is I'm glad he's standing up for himself.
