Justine POV
Me and Bella cheered on in the center since the game was over. The Grizzles had won against the Lakers which caused a big celebration for the big arena, and for the players to get interviewed by the reporters.
As me and Bella prepared to walk out, I heard my name being called which I ignored at first. Ever since I got here just a whole lotta reporters wouldn't stop calling down my name to pose for some pictures and personally a bitch hated it. As again when both me and Bella where heading out, I could hear the same voice from earlier call down my name which was starting to get me mad annoyed. But this time it wasn't by no reporter. Instead this voice was deep.
Before Bella could've even open the door that's when the voice started to get closer and my arm was then grabbed. "Yo ass don't hear me calling you ma?" I turned around seeing the face of Ja. Not gon lie I was kinda getting annoyed by him already and that's not what I want.
"Fuck you calling me down for? you don't got my number nigga?"
He began his little chuckle before grabbing my hand softly caressing it. Bella just stood there watching the whole thing.
"It's not better if I just talk to you in person? I'm trynna get to know you more, but you just keep ignoring a nigga" he held eye contact with me while he brought my hand to his lips before softly kissing it. Whatever he was doing, was just making me feel weird. Kind've like I need him or something. I don't know how to explain it.
"Look Ja, I'm not looking for somebody right now since I'm still with my baby father, so if you want me to put you on with one of my friends, I could" I saw as he rolled his eyes before letting go of my hand. "Ion want nun of ya friends though ma" He stood in front of me as he picked back up my hand, this time softly caressing it. I ignored what he said because it just seemed like he didn't even care about me mentioning about my damn man. I swear I hate when niggas do that.
"You still coming to the show though right?" I still wanted to have a connection with him and probably make us go on as friend's instead of me eventually gonna have to to end up catching feels for this nigga.
Hell nah.
"Yea, I gotchu. It start at 7 right?" He asked as I nodded. He licked his lips looking me up and down, "I could still take you out though? yo baby daddy ain't gotta know if you'n tell him nun ma"
Oh this boy is on me bad. Like nigga we just met. Let a bitch breathe.
"Already? you don't think it's too early for that Ja?"
he picked up his right hand and placed it on my right cheek while staring in my eyes as I looked up back at him. "Ion care. long as I'm taking yo fine ass out, you could always think about ya baby daddy later" when I tell y'all something was getting wetter by second after he said that in his deep voice. I felt so stupid.
"Let me take you to a little party they having for us tomorrow after ya show. We celebrating our win on this one. I'll bring you home right after"
I haven't had any breaks and no time for myself at all in years since I'm always busy with either work or busy taking care of the kids at home. Going to a little party not gon hurt.
"You sure you gon take me home right after?" he looked me deeply in my eyes as he got closer. "I'm sure ma"
After that Ja attention was put on his teammate who started calling him down so they could get more interviews in. Ja looked back at me one more time before softly removing his hand from my face and jogging away.
"The hell was that about?" asked Bella as we began to walk out the arena. We headed in the car where we put on our seatbelts before driving off. "Don't worry about it. We just gon go to the party and call it a day. It's not like me and him gon do nothin. I'm not no cheater if that's what you think it is"
