"How was the doctor?" Maliyah asked as she passed me a bottle of water.

I was chilling at Maliyah and Dougie's crib talking to Maliyah about the whole results situation about Kay, "It was good. They said that there was no sign of a disease and that I'm healthy"

She nodded, "I hope you know Kay is guilty with his lying ass though" she chuckled before taking a sip.

"Why you say that?" I asked in a confused tone. I knew exactly what she was talking bout.

"Justine I know you not being serious right now. The man literally cheated on you with Mya 4 days after y'all got together then right after you broke up with him he dates her. You couldn't see the red flags from there? Kay cheated on you the same day Kaiyeer was made Justine, and you still take him back no matter what! you acting like you can't move on and be with someone better"

I started thinking hard, "I'm trying Maliyah, trust me a bitch is trying alright? It's just the part that he's my baby's father and I want Kaiyeer to be with him no matter what. I want Kaiyeer to be with his father in the same home instead of two!"

Maliyah rolled her eyes before taking another sip, "Whatever Justine. All I know is if he gets another girl pregnant that better be your last straw with him. And I'm talking bout getting another girl pregnant while y'all together too"

Kay would never do such a thing.

Getting another girl pregnant while he's with me is something that I know he'll never do.

Kay loves me and Kaiyeer too much to pull some shit like that.

"But whatever results coming in on his birthday will tell you all you need to know girl"

Maliyah turned on the tv finding a movie we could watch together. Dougie was chillin' with some of his friends meaning that me and Maliyah had the house for ourselves.

It was silent for a moment as the only thing that could be heard was the sound from the tv until I decided to say something to break it, "Did you tell him yet?"

"tell who?" Maliyah sounded hella confused.

I swea this girl slow.

"Did you tell Dougie that you expecting his first child?"

she smacked her lips and rolled her eyes, "first? I think you mean second"

I looked at her confused.

Second? fuck she talking bout?

"what you mean by second? you carry his first child right?"

"I wish, but Genesis already beat me to that" she let out a quiet sigh just scrolling through movies.

"Genesis was neva pregnant by Dougie. NEVER was that bitch pregnant with Dougie's seed so the fuck is you talking bout?"

She turned her head to me, "yes she was Justine. She had a miscarriage just after she was put into a coma after she was almost killed by Dougie. Dougie almost killed his soon to be baby moms"

Okay but that doesn't mean she had the baby.

You having his first child while Genesis couldn't even make it to the first trimester.

we stared at each other, "As much as I love Dougie, if I knew that him and Genesis had something going on I wouldn't have got with him"

"You don't mean that right?"
