Kingston's pov:

Of course it was Atlas who helped her.

I'd had to force him to tell me where she was and eventually he gave in but not before giving up a good fight.

I don't understand why she'd go by herself considering everything that's going on right now.

I understand she wants revenge for her father but she needs to think about things in a smart way and not rush into it, especially when she isn't thinking clearly.

We pulled up outside the house River was in and hoped to god she was fine.

I came with Remington and Braxton as I didn't know what I was about to walk into and had to be prepared for anything.

Rolling my eyes at the situation, I hopped out the car and made my way towards the house.

It was now 2pm and I had to be dealing with this when I could be doing some other important and needed things right now.

As I approached the door, I noticed it was already unlocked when I opened it.

Silence filled the air as I stood at the entrance of the house.

That wasn't the weirdest part about all of this though, River appeared to be singing her heart out to, 'living on a prayer' by Bon Jovi, whilst dancing on the leather sofa with a bottle of vodka in her hand.

She's pissed.

For fucks sake. This is going to be a nightmare.

A dead body also laid on the floor as dark red blood pooled around him.

She's lost the fucking plot.

Braxton walked over to the radio and cut the music off straight away.

He insisted he join on the journey along with Remington and me.

He hates River with a burning passion and for that reason specifically, he wanted to join us.

River suddenly came to a halt as she stared at all three of us.

"Have I got something on my face or do I just look flawless, like always." She asked as we all just stood staring at her.

Both. Blood and Beauty.

"What the fuck happened here?" Braxton questioned as if it wasn't already obvious.

"What the fuck does it look like?" River shot back, leading them both to have a glaring match.

As I took a look at the man on the floor, I noticed it's the same guy me and Honor saw at the crime scene, the same night River's father was found dead.

Looks like River got to him first.

River must've noticed me staring at the dead body as she spoke and immediately caught my attention, "A piece of art, right?" She laughed, hopping off the sofa and stepping towards me.

I snatched the almost empty bottle of vodka out of her hand and pulled her into the corner of the room whilst Braxton and Remington continued to stare at the body in disgust.
