River's pov:
The party began twenty minutes ago and I'm only just finishing off getting ready.
Music is blasting out through the speakers and all around the house as more and more people began joining the party.
There was around 100, maybe even more, people in this mansion right now and they were all just roaming around. Some in the garden, admiring all the statues, plants and accessories. Whilst others just wandered around the house.
Let's hope security are doing a good job.
I could hear all the laughter and chatter outside my room and the sound gave me a headache. Why did Peter have to throw a party here?
As I was pulling the straps to my short, red dress over my shoulders, the door flew open and there stood Kingston, looking as sexy as ever in his plain black shirt with matching black trousers.
He's beautiful and not even I can deny that.
"Ever heard of something called knocking?" I asked, frustrated.
He ignored my question completely and eyed my body up and down as he slowly stalked towards me, never once taking his eyes off of me and my body.
I was almost ready. Could he not have waited 5 more minutes?
"Party has already started and you're nowhere to be seen. Had to come and make sure you hadn't drank yourself to death." He finished off with a sarcastic smile.
Bastard.
Rolling my eyes, I focused back on my dress and tried desperately hard to zip up the back of it. Not a chance in hell was I going to let Kingston do it for me.
"Need any help with that?" He asked from behind me with a little grin on his face.
Yes.
"No." I told him, not even seconds later.
Looking at him through the large mirror infront of me, his eyes continued to roam around my body until they found my eyes.
Why does he have to look at me like that? It's making me feel things and I don't like it.
Looking away almost instantly, I avoided eye contact by fiddling with my jewellery.
If he keeps on looking at me like that, I'm afraid I'll do something that I will strongly come to regret.
"You nervous or something, doll?" He asked, noticing me avoid eye contact which is very unusual of me as I would stare a bitch down if anyone ever looked at me for that little bit too long.
About the fact that I could do something really stupid, especially with alcohol still in my system? Yes. Anything else? No.
Ignoring his question, I continued to try and zip up the dress but it was no use, the stupid thing didn't appear to be budging at all.
For fucks sake. This is embarrassing.
"Let me help you with that." He spoke, taking more steps towards me.
