Peacefully, everyone was sleeping deeply on the hard white marble floor. Without their backpacks, which they had not taken to the door in the rush and had therefore left in the warehouse, they had no blankets and nothing to rest their heads on. Now, they had even less then before. Wooyoung was still leaning against the wall, slumbering, with Seonghwa now using his lap as a pillow. It wasn’t particularly comfortable to sleep while sitting up, especially not for his neck and back, but he was so tired and in need of sleep, that he couldn’t care less. Only when the sound of a rattling bunch of keys reached his ears did he grumble and he was ripped out of his sleep. Grumbling, he slowly opened his eyes. Still with slightly blurry eyes, he looked around, to find the other boys still asleep. Hongjoong was sleeping just half a meter away from Wooyoung, laying on his back like a wooden board, eyes closed and lips slightly parted. Sleepy mumbling left his mouth, that Wooyoung wasn’t able to understand. Mingi, Yunho and San had found themselves a spot a little further away, on the other side of the room. They were close together, sharing each other’s warmth and feeling of safety. The last two, Jongho and Yeosang, were spread out in the room. Jongho slept on the left side of the room, between the three cuddlers and Wooyoung, while Yeosang was laying all alone in a corner on the other side of the room, curled up with a cute pouty face. He didn’t seem to be dreaming very well. His eyebrows were pulled together in a frown and his eyes were slightly wet. Maybe be had a nightmare. Wooyoung looked at him and sighed. He must’ve been very tired after all the arguing he had done. It still echoed in Wooyoung’s head, what Yeosang had said. The way he tried to make Hongjoong feel bad for having faith in the map Wooyoung had found, definitely felt not only like he was blaming Hongjoong, but also Wooyoung. He had found the map after all. But apart from Yeosang obviously blaming Wooyoung for the situation they were stuck in, there seemed to be something else between them, that stopped them from getting along, and it saddened Wooyoung. Yeosang obviously didn’t like Wooyoung very much. Ever since they met, Yeosang had nothing but argumentative and accusing always with mean gazes for him and Wooyoung just couldn’t understand what he had done for Yeosang to act like this towards him. He could just wait and hope that it would get better over time. The sound of the keys was still tickling his ears, got louder, regaining Wooyoung’s attention. He furrowed his eyebrows.

“Where does that come from..?” He murmured, as he heard footsteps, in addition to the keys rattling, that seemed to be approaching from outside the room. He looked straight ahead and stared at the locked white door, when the steps suddenly stopped. Wooyoung held his breath.

Who’s there?

Panic rose within him, tightening his throat. He could hear someone breathing behind that door, low and steady, as if the person on the outside was asleep. Nervously, he looked around, hoping for one of the others to wake up and hear the sounds as well, but everyone was so deeply asleep, that they didn’t seem to notice the strange noises. Even when the sound of one key entering the keyhole of the door made Wooyoung freeze in fear, no one else heard it. He wanted to scream and wake everyone up, but his voice was stuck in his throat, not letting a single word slip out of his mouth. Suddenly, the handle of the door was pushed down. Tense with nervousness and panic, Wooyoung watched as the door opened a small bit, before suddenly swinging open with a strong jerk, revealing a dark corridor. It was so dark in the hallway that Wooyoung felt like he was looking into the abyss of hell. Pitch black shadows so intense that Wooyoung was afraid they would take over the room and plunge everything into darkness. He stared into the darkness. His breath was going faster and his heart was running a marathon in his chest, heavily pumping between his lungs full of panic and fear. Then, Wooyoung heard a voice.

“Wooyoung.” Goosebumps spread over Wooyoungs arms and his neck and he shivered. This voice. He knew this voice. When something suddenly moved in the shadows, Wooyoung focused his eyes on the dark corridor, trying to see, what, or who, was hiding in the darkness. Footsteps echoed in the dark and got closer, when Wooyoung finally saw a figure stepping out of the shadows. A shiver ran down his spine when he saw a person standing there. Wearing a black suit, necklaces and rings as accessories and a black fedora hat on his head. It was one of them! A Halateez! Why was he here? Would he try to hurt them, now that they were asleep and defenseless? It gave Wooyoung the feeling of having a déjà vu to look at the dark figure.
