The smell of fried chicken filled the air. The whole group had gathered around the grill - which Mingi had assembled and Seonghwa had then served - and were warming up by the warm flames while enjoying their first decent meal in ages. Along with the chicken, the four members who went shopping brought salads, ramyeon and also pork belly, which Seonghwa and Yunho grilled and cooked together and then distributed to everyone. Yeosang was in heaven. He couldn't remember if he had ever eaten so well before he ended up in this place, but it tasted so good that he didn't want to stop eating. The chicken he nibbled on was perfectly cooked through. Seonghwa seasoned it properly beforehand and even made a marinade so it was really nice and crispy when they bit into it. The boys really didn't know what they would do without their eldest. They would probably have starved to death long ago.

»It's so delicious, I'm dying.« enthused Wooyoung, who was just putting some lettuce in his mouth and chewing it with relish.

»Hm! Delicious!« Seonghwa chuckled.

»I'm glad you like it.«

»Can I have some more pork belly?« San asked, holding out his plate to the eldest, who immediately placed some of the grilled pork belly on San's plate.

»Here you go.«

»Thanks, hyung.« He smiled contentedly and began to eat his second piece.

»I wish we could eat like this every day.« Hongjoong said while nibbling on his chicken and Mingi nodded.

»That would be great.«

»Well, while we're here, we could, couldn't we?« Yunho asked and Seonghwa shrugged slightly.

»Who knows. We might have to leave here tomorrow.« Yeosang whimpered in pain and looked down at his chicken.

»Please do not. I don't want to eat nuts and candy bars again...«

»What do you have against the candy bars?« Jongho asked a little offended and Yeosang looked at him in frustration.

»The stuff doesn't fill you up and I just can't look at it anymore.«

»You have no idea how tasty they are.« Jongho pouted. Hongjoong just smirked and leaned his head against the youngest's shoulder.

»We'd be happy to get you some new candy bars tomorrow.« he said.

»Yes, I think there were some in the supermarket.« Seonghwa said and Jongho looked at him sadly.

»Why didn't you bring them with you?«

»Because we didn't think they were really that necessary.« Yunho laughed, amused by Jongho's behavior. When it came to those stupid candy bars, he behaved like a kid and only then you could realize that he was actually the youngest of the group. Normally you would think Yunho, Mingi, San and Wooyoung to be the youngest, even though they were all a year older than Jongho.

»We'd be to get some tomorrow.« Seonghwa said, and Jongho, still sulking, accepted the suggestion and continued eating. When everyone had eaten, Hongjoong looked around the group and smiled when he saw Mingi sitting between San and Yunho and being used as a teddy bear by both of them. They wrapped their arms around the black-haired man from both sides and snuggled up to him, which made Hongjoong happy. He cleared his throat.

»Hey boys. Do you actually know what day it is today?« he asked around and everyone looked at him confused.

»Um, the happiest day of my life? Because we have chicken?« Yeosang asked. The group laughed and Hongjoong shook his head in amusement.

»Nice try, but no.« He looked back at Mingi and reached into his pocket. Confused, the tall boy watched him pull a small digital pocket watch out of his jacket and hand it to Mingi. Mingi accepted them confused and looked at them. It was a multifunctional watch that showed the time as well as the day of the week and the date.
