Half an hour later, Mingi and Yunho had both finished their fights. Mingi, who came second, wrestled his opponent to the ground within a very short time. He had rushed at him like an animal, pounced on him and wrestled with him until the robot could no longer move and was lying on the ground under Mingi. At times what Mingi had done had looked decently clumsy, but in the end it had somehow worked. The alarm had ended the fight and Mingi had come out of the cage proud and with his head held high as the groups first winner. Yunho then left right after him. His weight had decided the fight for him right from the start. He was a good head taller than the robot, but was still built just as wide as the other robots, which made him more immobile and slower than Yunho. A few dodges were enough before Yunho pushed his opponent to the ground, climbed on top of him and cracked his skull. If the robot had been a living person, it would not have left this cage alive. The anger that had overcome Yunho at that moment was too great for him to contain, so he just used the robot as a very big punching bag. His anger over the last few weeks, and especially his anger at the fact that one of his friends had been injured again, had pooled inside him and come out all at once. During the entire fight he had blocked out everything around him. All he had thought about was what had happened to them. Every injury, every argument, every tear shed over the Halateez by him or his friends was in his mind at that moment. He only saw what was in front of him. He hadn't even noticed his friends' looks. Even when the alarm sounded, he remained sitting on the robot's chest for a moment while the others stood outside the cage and looked at Yunho with concern. The tall, black-haired man just sat there, staring at the shattered robot skull, his face red with anger and his fists bloody.
"Are you okay?" Hongjoong finally asked as he walked into the cage and approached Yunho. He carefully placed a hand on Yunho's shoulder and the tall man flinched slightly. He looked up, puzzled. Only now realizing that his friends had been watching him the whole time, his anger disappeared and turned into anger.
"Eh, yes!" He picked himself up and wiped his bloody knuckles on his shirt.
"I-I'm fine." he stammered. Hongjoong looked hesitantly at the younger man as he stood there, his hands still shaking slightly from the adrenaline of the fight, his face a little more normal again, but his neck and ears reddish from the embarrassment of his friends seeing him so out of it have. They didn't want to lie, it had really shocked them to see Yunho like that. Hongjoong in particular was very frightened. He had always admired Yunho for always keeping a calm head despite everything that had happened to them on their journey from the desert to here, and for never seeming to be angry. Except for the time Mingi disappeared, Yunho had actually always had a smile on his face. Seeing him suddenly like that, blinded by anger to the point where he could even pulp a robot with his bare hands, shocked Hongjoong a lot. Cautiously, the black and white haired man reached out his hand to Yunho's wrist.
"How about you come out first and sit down for a second." He said in a soft voice and smiled encouragingly at Yunho. The younger nodded slightly and let Hongjoong lead him out of the cage. The others made room for him and let him walk over to the banks. You could imagine that Yunho didn't want to be surrounded by shouts of joy at that moment, but rather needed a moment of peace. He sat down on the bench next to Jongho, who was still sitting there sulking because of Yeosang and wondering what he could have done wrong that Yeosang, who had never been angry with him before, suddenly even ignored him. In the last half hour, Jongho had tried several times to get Yeosang's attention, but the mint-haired man hadn't paid him any attention. His pain was almost gone now. Wooyoung had bandaged his left hand with a piece of fabric that he had torn off his t-shirt so that the wound wouldn't get dirty. It wasn't ideal to bandage the wound with a T-shirt that hadn't been seen in the washing machine for some time, but they didn't have anything better. When Yunho sat down next to Jongho, the younger looked at him worriedly. Although he barely noticed the fight from back here, he did hear Yunho's angry screams. The frustration and pain in his voice had given Jongho goosebumps all over his body. He hesitated a little.
