Looking back and forth between Yunho and Jongho, who were both napping on their mattresses under the warm sunshine, Mingi and Yeosang sat on the floor, sulking in boredom. The two sleepyheads had been sleeping for what felt like an eternity, Yunho even longer than Jongho and in the camp there was simply nothing for the two boys who were awake to do. So they got bored. Frustrated, Yeosang sat cross-legged, his arms leaning on his knees and his head resting in his hands. He pursed his lips into a straight line before pouting again and sighing as he looked at Mingi, who was lying on another mattress opposite him, drawing in the sand with a stick.
"I'm bored." The mint-haired boy's words reached Mingi's ears, but he ignored him and kept his gaze fixed on the ground.
"Aha." He simply replied, continuing to scribbling in the sand. A pout grew on Yeosang's face and he frowned in offense.
"Let's do something."
"And what do you want to do?" Mingi asked and Yeosang thought for a moment.
"I don't know but lets do something." Mingi immediately shook his head listlessly. He didn't feel like playing.
"I don't want to play." Annoyed, Yeosang rolled his eyes and groaned.
"Then what do you want to do?" He asked. His frustration was clear from the tone of his voice. He just wanted to do something about his boredom! Why did Mingi have to make it so difficult for him? Mingi sighed and added a few details to his sand drawing.
"Nothing." He just mumbled, which made Yeosang let out another annoyed sigh.
"Thats boring."
"Then find something to do for yourself. Take a nap, eat an apple." Pouting, Yeosang shook his head and looked down to the ground. He couldn't quite explain it, but something inside him just wanted him to move. All this waiting for the others to come back from their mission was stressing him out immensely, and he needed something, some activity he could do, to relieve the stress. But what? Taking a nap certainly wouldn't help him. He would just have nightmares again and he really didn't need that right now. Even an apple wouldn't help.
"I don't want to.." Yeosang finally said. At the end of his patience for Yeosang, Mingi dropped the stick in his hand and growled in annoyance as he looked at Yeosang.
"Then why do you ask?!" He asked angrily, but Yeosang remained silent. They looked at each other tensely for a moment, saying nothing, both annoyed and frustrated, before Yeosang looked away, sulking and groaning deeply. Shaking his head, Mingi picked up his stick again and continued to draw his picture into the sand while the other two continued to sleep peacefully. Yeosang watched him sulkily as Mingi started scribbling again. He just couldn't take it anymore. Seonghwa, Hongjoong and San had been away for almost half an hour to explore the area and there was simply nothing Yeosang could do in this camp to overcome the weird feeling itching him to do something while waiting for their return. He could look for firewood for the campfire, which sparked somewhat puny and miserably in the fireplace on the last remaining wood, but it was already hot, so Yeosang saw no point in getting more fire wood. And since Jongho and Yunho were both fast asleep and didn't look like they would wake up anytime soon, Mingi was the only one Yeosang could do something with. However, he obviously had no desire to do anything with Yeosang. When Yeosang finally couldn't stand sitting on the floor any longer, he quickly stood up and groaned in frustration.
"Go for a walk with me." He repeated and Mingi paused. An annoyed sigh escaped his throat as he looked up and saw Yeosang's face. The mint-haired boy looked at Mingi with a pout, trying to make him feel guilty for allowing Yeosang to be so bored. However, Mingi didn't care much. He just stared at Yeosang disinterestedly while playing with the small stick in his left hand.
