Lena's: POV
Where on the road heading towards the cabin. We've been driving for the past two hours. We stopped at the grocery store to pick up some groceries. Plus had to stop and let the doggies out so they could use the bathroom, they are very well mannered. Stef brought along their beds, that they barely sleep in
Cocoa always ends sleeping beside me
And snowy doesn't like sleeping in bed. She likes napping in the window seal, they even have little outfits to wear. I saw Francesca before I left work, she gave me the tightest hug as if she wasn't gonna see me again
That little girl has had my heart since Day one. I read her letter to Santa Claus and it literally had me in tears by the time I got finished reading it
Usually I wouldn't get so attached to the children at the center. It was something different about Francesca
It's like we met in another life, all the kids were special in there own way
I see Stef making her way back towards the car. She's putting them back in their carrier's, there has to be a family out there for these kids.
Stef got back in the car and buckle up and jumped back on the highway heading north. Where about twenty minutes away from the cabin, hopefully the owner came and picked up all the furniture and that moose above the fireplace. It wasn't before long we drove up the familia road
Baby l was thinking about putting some salmon on the grill and you can make your famous salad, with the broccoli carrots and cucumbers
I know you don't like tomatoes
I'm gonna change all the locks in the house and install the security system with the surveillance camera for the front and back doors Stef says to Lena
We pulled up to the house and Stef parked the car in the back. I unbuckle my seat belt and got out the car, walked around the back to get the doggie carriers out the back seat
