A Day of shopping

Lena's: POV
Stef and I were up bright and early getting our day started. We sat down and ate our breakfast, l was eating a brand muffin and a bowl of apple cinnamon oatmeal. While Stef was having butter milk pancakes with strawberries on top with turkey bacon on the side. We were planning on going to the mall this morning to get a head start on our Christmas shopping, we agreed not to over a thousand dollars. Knowing Stef she's gonna go overboard with presents for the babies, since we know the sex  of the twins. Babe you know we haven't really talked about what kinda tree to get this year, Lena asked her wife
mmm. This will be our first year of actually putting up a tree, l was thinking about a white one with sliver balls.  garland white lights Lena said

Head out and beat the crowds Stef told Lena. Love l know you don't like going to the malls during the holidays season, Lena replies. I'm only going because I know your gonna need my help carrying the packages for you
Stef says. You are so good to me sweetheart, Lena States l feel the same way as you beautiful Stef responds. After I was done with eating, l got up from the table
Went up to the sink and washed my dishes. And headed upstairs to take my medicine, these Vitamins have been making my hair and nails grow
Like crazy. I look down and noticed my small baby bump is more visible than before, l can't help to be excited
in becoming a mommy. How did this have happened overnight cause I don't remember my belly being this big last night, now it's starting to feel  real. Oh my God their kicking
I wish Stef was up to witness this moment with me, their little movements feel flutters. I brushed my teeth, then I exit the bathroom
Grabbed my bag off the chair
Made my way back downstairs
Where l see the front door open
Stef must be outside walking cocoa and snowy. I take the car keys off the coffee table and head outside to get the minivan started, so Stef doesn't have to worry about rushing around
I turned on the radio and listen to Christmas songs. And I snapped my fingers to the beat of the melody
I think back as a little girl when I would wake up early Christmas morning and rushed down the steps to see all the presents under the tree
This was before Dana left us, l must have been daydreaming longer than I realized. Not realizing Stef has gotten into the car, love l was calling out to you for five minutes Stef says in concern tone. Oh l didn't hear you
Lena replies, we begin driving making our own to the mall.
Stef took Lena's hand in hers and brought it up to her mouth and kissed her fingers gently where her wedding band was at. We were on the expressway, while the music was playing in the background smiling thinking to myself l was the luckiest woman on the planet to be married to the most beautiful amazing goddess beside me who's been there since day one. We drove up into the parking lot of the biggest mall, Stef parks the car in the garage and we both got out.
Walking hand in hand through as we took the elevator up to the main entrance of the mall. The doors open up and we stepped off, oh Lord here we go Stef says to herself. What was that love Lena asked me, l was thinking out loud Stef Stated
Uh-huh Lena replied as we head into children's place. I looked at the rack
Filled with new born clothes, l begin to cry. Stef whispers in my ear asking me am I okay, yeah babe l just got emotional for a minute Lena said
