It's been a emotional few days since Margaret received the devastating news about McKenzie death. Stuart tried to be there for his wife, Margaret was thankful for the love and support from his husband
to help get through this tryna ordeal
She knew that it was going to be a up hill battle for overcome the pain she felt deep within her heart. Thoughts of her granddaughter Francesca filled her mind, she doesn't wanna disrupt her life by taking her from the group home she's currently in. Francesca is the only thing that's left of her daughter, Margaret wants to get to know Francesca and become part of her life. She went to the new Haven children's home where Francesca was placed at, she spoke candidly to Dr. Shannon. The younger woman gave Margaret small details after Francesca and how she first came to the group home and how she didn't speak anybody at first, and she developed a close bond with Lena, Margaret Smiled. Her daughter always had a way with children growing up, Lena would often times baby sitter the little kids in the neighborhood as a teenager. Of course Margaret had to show proof she was Francesca's grandmother, she showed Shannon McKenzie's birth certificate. to say Shannon was in shocked, cause in Francesca's file there wasn't mentioned any living relatives
Margaret explains her estranged relationship with her late daughter McKenzie. Shannon was heartbroken to hear about what happened to Francesca's biological mother, her heart went out to the older woman
When Shannon informed Margaret Francesca's father signed over his parental rights. Margaret wasn't surprised cause the fact he wanted a son instead of a girl, when the question was asked if Margaret wanted to take Francesca. Margaret simply said, no because it seems Francesca is happy where she is
But she would like to meet her grandchild and have a relationship with her. if possible, unfortunately Ms. Adams Francesca is being temporary Fostered by Lena and her wife Stephanie and their out of town for two weeks, but l'm sure there won't be any issue with you seeing your granddaughter Francesca
But rest assured Francesca is capable hands. Francesca is crazy about Lena l never seen the level of care Lena has given to Francesca, she has the patience of a saint. Shannon explained, trust me l know my daughter has a heart of an angel

I'll be sure to let Lena know you stopped by Shannon said. Oh that won't be necessary, l would love to talk to her on my own if you don't mind. I don't wanna break up the bond she has establish with my daughter, Margaret is at ease her granddaughter is being well taken care of. Shannon l appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to sit and talk with me about Francesca, Margaret stands up and shakes Shannon's hand. As she heads for the door, she turns around and asks if it would be alright to buy Francesca a few Christmas presents and come back to drop them off
Margaret asks Shannon. I think that would an excellent idea Shannon replied, okay I will come back tomorrow and dropped them gifts off for her once she returns from her trip
