Lena's: POV
We pulled up to sailish mountain Lodge. After being on the road for hours, Stef parked the car in front of the cabin we'll be staying at for the next couple of days. I got out the car to go explore our temporary home,
I unlock the front door and went inside, while Stef brought our things in. There was a fire place in the living room, the kitchen was super large like the one we had back home. It was always good to get away and just relax and spend some time together
I went to go help bring the groceries inside, l know she's not going to let me carry anything heavy especially in my condition. Babe take the suitcases
While I bring in the grocery bags
Stef says to me, l walked up the steps
I didn't see the patch of ice on the last step. I loss my footing and almost fell forward luckily Stef caught me just in time, it scared us both half to death
The first thing I thought of was our baby. Stef sat the bags down and took the luggage from my shaking hands
Babe it's okay she kept saying to me
Love the first thing that went through my mind was this precious child right here l pointed to my stomach Lena said. I know baby I did to why you don't l help you inside and make you some hot tea to settle your nerves, l'll carry everything in while you relax
She says to me. Where gonna need some firewood for the fireplace,
Lena tells Stef. I got settled on the couch, why didn't l have my contacts in. I turned on the TV to find something to watch. This Christmas is on bet, l laid down across the couch
My eyes were beginning to get heavy
So l fell asleep about ten minutes into the movie. Stef came in and covered me with a blanket, she got the fire going. Stef unpacked the grocery and put them away in the cabinets and refrigerator, and got started on dinner
While Lena was napping. I never been so scared in my life Stef told herself, l'm glad Lena was okay
She's pretty shook up.
